My side-comments on the photos...

- I want one of those spinners for my kick!  I wonder how much those things cost...

- I love the finish on Zoro's DW kit.  Bling-bling!!

- Those white Paistes are as ghostly as Joey Jordison's make-up.

- Regarding the Zildjian display booth... Now that's how JB music stores should display their Zildjians!

- "Please do not play." --- Wow they have that in UK too!

- I better check out this Aquiles Prestler dude.

Keep 'em coming, bro bangbus!  8)

pmack: more pics and videos to come, promise

intake: di naman shytype si akira, i was just too slow on the shutter, but i have a lot of videos of his performance, i'll upload it as soon as i can.

marxlenin: actually i personally feel that the trick is better than the axis if a person is not too technical about his pedal, coz the axis is not really user-friendly with respect to finding your custom fit with the pedal. the axis is so customisable or adjustable that one would tend to get lost along the path of adjusting it. i have a friend who had to bring his axis back to the shop after tweaking it, he said he wanted it the way he bought it but couldnt get it back to its OEM spec after adjusting it...its that complicated daw...on the other hand, the trick is very straightforward, well -built, the beater head's impact angle could be adjusted as well as the beater angle itself, the spring tension could be adjusted at a twist of a knob, i tested it and i could say i could double ped with it like a cowboy on a holiday, its so lightning fast and very responsive, i never thought i could pedal that fast...but the pedal cost more than my kit, im not cut out for that kind of expenditure yet.

jun_balaraw: patience is a virtue my friend.

champorado: she's a filipina drummer, hot on the pedals as well. i like to stay between the secret identity pitch and shyness, this is the net, we are entitled to anonymity. i wish more pinoy drummers was with us over here, kung pwede lang the entire pinoy drumming community. i will post some more in due time so stay tuned.

take care everyone
 :)

DRUMMER LIVE
(20. 21 October 2007)
is now the largest dedicated Drum and Percussion Show in the World

Thomas Lang
Cindy Blackman
Derek Roddy
Gerald Heyward
Nicko McBrain
Walfredo Reyes Jr.
Steve White
Ronald Bruner Jr.
Wolfgang Haffner
Andrew Small
Jungle Drummer
Vic Firth

and a suprise performance of very high profile drummer

so check with Drummer Live website for full information and running order over the two days:

http://www.drummerlive.co.uk

The line up for the UK's greatest drum show takes place as Cindy Blackman, Nicko McBrain, Jungle Drummer, Steve White, Ronald Bruner Jr., Derek Roddy, Walfredo Reyes Jr., Gerald Heyward, Andrew Small and Wolfgang Haffner all head up the Live Stage artists....And there's still more to come!

October 20th and 21st 2007 are the dates for the UK's greatest drum event, brought to you by Drummer Magazine. Now in its second year at London Docklands' fantastic ExCel Centre, Drummer Live has grown even bigger since last years's record breaking show at the new venue.

Over the two days, Drummer Live will bring you the very latest and best in drum and percussion gear, giving you the opportunity to assess products up close and to get full information from product specialists. As in previous years, there will be many bargains to be had at the show as the cream of the UK's retail outlets display the hottest of gear, all designed to get your playing smarter and better.

On the Live Stage, Drummer Live will see a fantastic selection of international artists including Cindy Blackman from Lenny Kravitz's band. Cindy is also known for her outstanding jazz playing, so expect some serious fireworks when she takes to the stage.

Latin supremo Walfredo Reyes Jr. will bring his unique approach to fusing Latin with other styles.

Ronald Bruner Jr., who blew the roof off last years's Modern Drummer Festival with his extreme left-field approach to funk/fusion, is also going to be rattling the rafters.

Of course you can't have Drummer Live without Nicko McBrain, and as always, Nicko will handle MC duties over the two days and perform his own solo spot.

Derek Roddy, who has supplied insanely fast beats for the likes of Hate Eternal, and others within the speed metal scene, is another new player bringing his wares to Drummer Live. Steve White is bringing in his trio for a set of delicious grooves and fine time-keeping and German groovemeister Wolfgang Haffner will surprise many with his groove and feel too.

Drummer's own Jungle Drummer offers drum and bass on the Live Stage with DJ Fu and M.C.

Stamina cranking the BPM to new levels, Kylie Minogue's Andrew Small will convey how a high profile touring drummer works in such a pressured environment.

Gerald Heyward is jumping in for Ira Colman - had to cancel her appearance for schedule reasons.

Kicking off the two days with the unenviable task of being first onto the Live stage will be Harpal Mudhar, winner of the Young Drummer Of The Year award.
