A young woman has spoken about the rare condition which meant she was unable to menstruate or have sex naturally.
Joanna Giannouli, 27, from Greece, suffers from Rokitansky syndrome which means her body has undeveloped internal genitalia.
Speaking to the BBC, she detailed how surgeons made a makeshift vagina when her body was found to be missing a womb, cervix and upper genital tract.
