Snark Super TIGHT SN-8 Durability Issues

I have the red one and was broken same way as yours. I glued it using mighty bond and decided to glued it with its joints. Meaning my snark tuner now is  uncapable of rotating 360 degrees. But still working and can tune properly.

I got to use the Snark again(same model as yours)..hahaha havent used it since October..and now i saw some of those white stuff..kaya ingat nga ingat ako..hahaha siguro dapat lagyan ng wd40 yun para smooth yung pag glide..

Ingat ingat na lang sir gandy yortotz. Di na nga siguro ako bibili ng ganito.

My SN-2 was dropped a number of times, but it didn't broke. My SN-8 was no more than 1 feet away from its box and it broke.

Pangit pala ng design. The plastic is already flimsy to begin with, and you only have three small claws to hold the balljoint in place which would surely apply force sideways. Siguro super tight nga literally yung kapit dun sa ball kaya nasisira. Hehehe.

Okay sana yung display. Pero yung design itself, mahina talaga. I hope Lyric won't leave me hanging.

My SN1's claw broke when I moved the screen. Mukhang it got brittle over time. I was considering the SN8 pero mukhang same problem din. Maganda sana ang snark.

gave 2 Snarks to a friend as a gift, nasira raw yung isa. extra inggat na yung isa pangalawa. so far buo pa.

nahulog strat ko from the stand, yung snarq ang nag cushion ng far, big deep dent but still working fine.

Madali talaga masira kay jim sa bigat ng bag nun hahaha as in mabigat, pwera pa yung amp at gitara.
Yung s'kin blue, hanggag ngayon buo pa, mas una pa sa snark ni jim, nasa tin can ng mooncake, so far ok pa rin, nakaka isang palit pa lang ako ng batt including yung kasama sa package. Hehe

Yung sinend sakin na replacement unit straight from Danelectro/Snark US, may crack na rin. Second time ko pa lang yun nilabas kasi I want to preserve it. Turns out kahit anong ingat pala, talagang mahina yung mismong tuner. Design flaw. Pwede rin dahil sa materials used.

Ginawa nila yun dahil fail yung original clip-on nila. Had enough. Turbo Tuner or tuner on smartphone na lang. Pero in fairness, subtle na yung design ng Son of Snark. Di na mukang unidentified flying object na dumapo sa gitara.
