Kuripot ako sa sticks kasi it's so easy to break it. New sticks can be broken if they're new and used for the first time. Unlike guitars/bass where beginners bend strings more lightly, beginner drummers hit harder and with worse technique (e.g. perpendicular to a cymbal) than more advanced players.

Besides, I only borrow (anything, not just sticks) from people I know, not from strangers, so I lend to people I know as well.

you can break strings with bad technique too - or some cheap guitars with terrible bridge makes breaking strings easier.

i guess there's a minimal investment required for each instrument to sound good. not that using cheap sticks make you sound bad (they definitely don't make you sound as good though)...

the only thing i like about drummers using cheap sticks is that they arent usually as loud.

eh yung LAZER 8A, meron ding Hickory Edition eh. and I loved those sticks! long, light, round bead! tas matibay! :D

Going back to topic, i practice my foot technique sa generic single pedal. walang bass plate to. nung nagagawa ko na ng tama sa pedal na yun, nagtry ako sa mas maayos na pedal = (Pearl Elims)

sobrang nakakapanibago. :O as in sobrang light, na hinahanap ng paa ko yung hirap hahahha!
