Here is my custom steel snare. Enjoy!!!

The shell:

Testing with the lugs:

Making sure everything fits and properly aligned:

After getting the Glossy Black Powdercoat:

Testing the lugs after the Powdercoat:

How the Custom Snare looks like right now:

Specs:
Shell - 3mm Diamond Steel Plate
Size  - 6.5" x 14"
Lugs - 10 lugs (bought from wax_static)
Hoops - Pearl Super Hoops
Strainer - Puresond Blaster 20 strands
Batter Head - Evans Power Center Reverse Dot
Resonant Head - Fernando

Resonant Head will be replaced with an Evans Hazy 300, hopefully very soon...

Regarding the sound, I dont have ways to record it right now but i'll try to figure out a way when im not too busy. Another way is to ask the members whowent tothe South EB last October 18, I brought the snare there hehehe...

Loud crack bro with light overtones. Mas maganda pa kesa sa JJ snare hahaha. Isa lang snare wires bro, yung isa marking nung una ko lagay kasi masyadong napahigpit.

Ok, i'll try to record it this weekend.

Regarding any reviews and experiences with the snare, i'm a little bias about my snare, you may want to ask the people who went to the South EB last Sunday like Bhangis, gadz, kibohead, peeves, Dheniz and Tranquildomain to review it hehehe.

Awesome snare! I find the black coat on the steel classier-looking than the Ulrich Sig. Go diecast na!

ganda ng tunog niyan mga men...mid tone na may loud crack...controlled yung overtones...meron pero di sobra...near to wood sound siya kahit bakal, siguro because of the specs din siguro. :-)
