hmm, office needs, wifi, ethernet (eto ba yung pwedeng i-connect sa landline internet?), yung pwedeng mag ulead for picture editor basic applications for entertainment and the like.

basically not for gaming purposes, sa facebook lang ako naglalaro,.

I have used an Asus EEE and I'm quite impressed by the built of that netbook.

The HP mini line has also prove to be quite a reputable netbook line. My mom bought a Mini 110 I'll give you my thoughts about it within the week, since we'll get it by monday. cheers!

bro kung titingnan mo eh halos lahat ng net/sub/compact notebooks ngayon eh powered ng Atom Processor..

meaning para kang naka Pentium 4 sa mas maliit na computer.. either 1.6/1.7 GHZ.. if browsing, word processing and simple picture viewing lang ang ginagawa mo eh ok na sayo ang HP Mininote Atom Processor 1.6GHZ at 1GM RAM na naka 120GB HDD na naka Windows XP (or Windows 7).

alam ko meron ngayon na expanded na ang RAM to 2GB (the newer Mininote) if may option ka yun na ang kunin mo (pero I guess above 20k na yun).

Always remember pre na ang mga subcompact notebooks na yan eh ginawa for the sole purpose of "Internet on the Go" at hindi pang edit ng music or photoshop.. lalong lalo na hindi rin ito pang "games" (unless nalang gameboy or SNES emulators) dahil intel mobile GMA 950 lang ang vidcard nito.. shared memory pa.

yung HP Mini 1000 below 20k lang yun.. pero ang HDD nun eh 60GB lang.. pero same specs sa iba at pwede pa i-"Hackintosh" hehehe

As promised here's my experience with the HP Mini 110:

The netbook's built is of great quality. It's study and very solid. Our's came with a 6-cell battery by default and we can get around 6-8 hours of computing between charges, but of course it's heavily dependent on what apps you are actually running.

It comes with Windows XP Sp3, but we realized that Windows SP3 still has that issue with it's internet connection. I immediately reformatted the Mini and installed Windows 7 home premium. The netbook handles WIndows 7 home premium very well, even with full aero and transparencies enabled.

what else... the keyboard is very comfortable but I find it quite hard to use the small touch pad at the bottom, but this is no biggy if you already have a wireless USB mouse.

Final Words:

the HP Mini 110 is definitely a great buy and I would recommend it to any one who's seriously looking for a computer that is highly portable and reliable.

What i didn't like is the Windows XP Sp3 that came with it. I felt that the HP mini would be much cheaper if it did not come with Windows XP SP3, it's totally useless.
