True to its name, Giniling Festival's brand of music has been influenced by a wide variety of genres ranging from rock and funk, to blues and classical. Formed in 2003, the band has since developed a certain formula for their kick-ass performances: good vibes, stage presence, and a musical hubris, combined with the determination to make a lasting mark on the crowd, even if only a single soul is watching. The band members are drawn together by a common pleasure to "entertain" not just the audience but also themselves. The themes of their songs explore the most remote (to the absurd) situations in Philippine society which result in the band's masa appeal. Ultimately, for Giniling Festival, performing is not just about music, it's also about entertainment. Every show is a festival where everyone's invited to enjoy the music that the band is more than happy to offer. The band's popularity has been growing as they have become more and more visible, amazing, entertaining and getting laughs from audiences wherever they perform, from UP to UA & P, Quezon City to Makati.

Recently, the band has released a new video now airing on MYX music channel titled Titser's Enemy No. 1 a song revived from the great Juan dela Cruz band.
The song is part of the compilation album Hopia Mani Poporn 2: Manila Sounds.
