Japanese Rock Bands??

Goal:
Gusto ko sana maging information thread ito about sa japanese rock scene. Lately pa lang kasi nakinig talaga sa kanila and sa tingin marami pa akong kailangan malaman. So ang magbebenefit dito eh mga katulad ko.  :-D Dito ko sa GC nilagay kasi I'm a guitarist and guitars ang primary interest ko. When I say information, I mean songs, gears/instruments that they use. 'Yan lang muna, update ko na lang. Sa ngayon songs lang maibabahagi ko sa inyo kasi nahihirapan ako maghanap ng gears na ginagamit nila.

It may seem like a cliche but sa anime ko talaga nakilala ang mga japanese bands, particularly naruto at beck. 'Eto ang mga alam ko lang, sino pa mairerecommend n'yo?

Here are the ones na mga kilala ko at mga pinapakinggan ko galing sa kanila:

honestly hindi ko sila masyado trip pero OK rin

Boris -lately ko lang sila nalaman and dito lang sa pm (I think may thread na dito about sa gear nila)

Parang si saito-san sa beck yung vox nila, lol. LP special ba yun? ayos, will download this bukas, out na muna ngayon mauubos na pera ko haha.

a2c from mintjam pa.. ok dagdag sa playlist!
oo nga, ayos talaga sila mga gitarist dun, may "spirit" 'ika nga.

wow medyo marami na to ah..  :roll:

napapansin ko sa mga japanese guitarists eh technical sila pero andyan pa rin yung spirit/soul 'ika nga.  :-D
I'm not into shredding (or the likes) but I appreciate them japanese shredders

anyone knows kung ano nang nangyari sa Typhoon 24? may nabasa kasi ako may namatay sa isang member, hindi ko alam kung sino sa kanila and wala na raw Typhoon 24. Sayang

"Toe". They're not really in the rock genre, more of ambient shoegaze math rock. lol. Drummer is amazing!

Edit: Someone already said toe, didn't see that. Nevertheless, still a great band!

isa pang bigtime Jap band ngayon ay yung Dir en Grey. marami-rami na rin silang nakasabayang mga sikat na acts sa metal/hardcore scene.
