Albums with balanced instruments and vocals mixing
« on: November 16, 2015, 05:18:28 PM »
I really like how Tool mixes their vocals to the same level as the instruments, or maybe sometimes even lower(?). This is unlike in most pop music where the vocals is very prominent.

According to them in one interview I read, this makes the vocals sound more like an instrument instead of having a sonic division between vocals and instruments.

Do you know of any other albums, regardless of genre, that have the same mixing style? :-)

Listen to "ShadyXV" Eminems songs as he used his own studio for them
