I use a fender 65' deluxe reverb reissue- love its transparent clean sound and reverb... very easy to crank w/ humbucking pups w/c is also bad in a way cause it has a limited head room... I also use a marshall 62' jtm45 bluesbreaker combo reissue, this has more headroom... good for clean too

Sirs, why are some cabs slanted and some arent? Does it affect sound coming out of the cab?
Quote from: Machine_HeadSirs, why are some cabs slanted and some arent? Does it affect sound coming out of the cab?I think it's a means of redirecting the sound to go to a path that would be in line with the player's ears, i.e. above the ground, thus making it easier for him to hear himself. Notice how stage monitors are also slanted? Sound engineers, please tell me if there's any scientific or mathematical basis for my claim.
Why then arent there combos that are slanted? That would help a lot im sure since they're way down..

Oo nga ang konti ng HR pala nyan, nakagamit kasi ako nyan minsan sa isang outdoor gig dito. 4 palang ata volume nya nag-s-saturate na tubes nya. Kala ko "powerful" yung amp na yan (EJ used one before kasi) and i was expecting na very crystal clear ang clean tone nya even at high volume levels. Di pala. hehe
Sir VenusIsle, that a silhoutte of a hot chick at the bottom left part of the cab, did you just put that there or did it come with the amp? Sirs, why are some cabs slanted and some arent? Does it affect sound coming out of the cab?
22 watts lang yan eh diba? what do you expect?
