Hey guys! I am selling my other MXR Fullbore Metal for 3000 pesos. A close friend gave another one as "pasalubong" from NZ so I wont need the older one. I got it last December, and since I only play guitar at home, it's not actually abused...plus I am a metal drummer on stage and not really a guitarist on stage. Manila area. =) https://scontent.fmnl4-5.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/13103369_1019907198044562_2277122810831383877_n.jpg?oh=dade0fe562001d56833aabee3d1f4e39&oe=57CDFA1C

Used a Shredhead on 18V during a gig this past Sunday in Selda Dos and was surprised on how it delivered. It could deliver tone for thrash and old school death, but I think it would need an EQ to go to the brutal region.

You have to scoop the mids within the EQ pedal or throw extra effort with the palm muting to achieve the heavy "chug" sound.

True that, but I was actually surprised on how it sounded during that gig. At least I could bring this pedal if ever I am lazy to bring my multi as it is quite bulky

Definitely Metal Muff + EQ..

The Maxon OD808 is a Tubescreamer.. Far from a standalone metal pedal, but popularly used to boost and tighten up overdriven or distorted tones (from other pedals or amps).

After 3 yrs. the MI Audio Megalith Delta is my go to Metal Pedal, Tried a lot of stuff mentioned here, I own the Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier Roadster and the Megalith can mimic the tonal characteristics of the Roadster (90%) it's already there. Plus yung dynamics nya is like a tube amp talaga.

I have a Seymour Duncan twin.tube mayhem. It's a great sounding metal pedal but sadly my unit died for some reason. Both tubes and power supply are ok. Haven't got the chance to have it checked by a repair man.

Tried. same as DOD Deathmetal it will sound bes w/ EQ. I would say it is not a stand alone pedal, Manipis at matalas ang dating pag walant EQ but w/ EQ it is addictive massive heavy chug chug sound, but for lead best to use an OD.
