HELP! Remix & Remaster
« on: February 09, 2011, 12:56:13 PM »
We did a recording probably 5 or so years ago and we just found our copy, it's a dat master copy and we want to have it remixed & remastered. Can anyone help us where we can have it remixed & remastered?

Thanks!

If its in DAT then it would probably be in stereo.
You cannot do a remix.

But you can remaster it.

it's not easy to remaster a finished mix. worse case scenario is having to add frequencies where there were none in the first place. best you can do is to re-equalize the DAT master but there's no promising that it will sound much better, especially if the original mix is lacking.
