Wood - Birch daw pero for what i see eh kapreho sha ng wood ng Gretsch Catalina Maple. I think maple sha kasi pinkish yung wood. Birch is a bit darker colored wood.

The Verdict
Disclaimer agad!! I haven't used it for a gig setting pa pero JB music let me examine it physically for reviews last night.
Price: Ddrum won it. to think it't has 22x20 Bass drum and two floor toms grabe chong panalo ito! Kanyon to pare!!!
Looks: Well dipende sa tao yan. Ddrum looks like hell (black red finish) and Fernando looks like Coffin oh diba bagay? Joke lang pero for my taste Fernando really have won it. The classic marine Pearl White with wood hoops made it a winner. FYI yung lugs ng Ddrum is not the same with the one in WEB site.
Hardware: Well Ddrum has powdered coat Suspensions and lugs pero if youy'll take a look of it ng malapitan you'll see that the coating is pretty cheap looking one. Tas makikita mo na madali shang matanggal kasi yung nasa Suspension eh starting to wear off na agad. Pero okay lang kasi yung naman kasi yung may contact sa LROD kaya magagasgas talaga sha. Fernando naman has a pretty impressive hardware. Suspension nya looks like the one that the new TAMA Starclassics used. Sleek design! Yung lugs naman nya is so similar to My GRESTCH pero mejo mas maliit lang ng onti.
Snares: The center of attention.
Fernando won in this category! Why? 10 lugs with Die cast hoops and high tension lugs po! Panalo ito! Although the Ddrum has a deeper 14x6.5 snare, feeling ko panalo paren ang Fernando.
Overall: There's no loser for these 2 kits? Feeling kolang hindi sila match. Parang Shaq versus Nash. Kasi if you want a bigger sound and a ROCKSTAR look kit, go for DdrumDiabloPUNX. I fyou want a Funkier jazzy looks and sound, go for fernandos pero i know merong mga taong naka simangot if they hear the name Fernando on a beautiful kit. Pero let's give this BRAND a chance! After all it's the first ever local brand to produce high quality instrument! Pero shempre made in China yan!

PAHABOL!!! Sa mga bibile ng Ddrum mejo sakit lang ng ulo yung 15inches na floor tom. why? Kasi 15 inches sha hellow!!!! San ka kukuha ng 15 inches na head dito sa pinas?? FYI lang po!
