Ano nangyari sa Remo Encore ko?

Yup, its ok for toms, im currently using it for my 10" tom, but there are times na kahit naka-tune na you can really see the curves sa head,,probably due to the crimping method they use to attach the head to the rim...

san ba nakaka bili at magkano kaya ung 12", 16", and 22" na encore?   Getting tired of Lazer heads.

JB (and the Salonga/Manila Music sister stores) has lots of stocks of these. 10" up to 22", may Encore Pinstripes sila. Unlike the BA coated Encores (which are 1-ply), the Encore Pinstripes are double-ply ha. Lower-pitched sound, medyo muffled. Something to note lang.

invest nalang kaya sa mas magandang heads? after ko bumili nung coated pinstripes (pang snare)..i swore by it

try mo sa Musicians Friend o kaya Guitar Center 
yung sakin binili ko sa GC malapit samin..basta pag sticks or heads hindi ko binibili online

Aww, akala ko meron locally. Gusto ko sana kasi i-tame yung snare ko, pero gusto ko yung warmth ng coated heads.

"The "Encore" drumhead is an aftermarket head that we produce in our Taiwan facility. The film is similar to that used in Remo American made "Weatherking" production, however, the structure is crimped (Aluminum channel, around a steel insert ring) versus the "Weatherking" which is an open channel poured (Glued) head. The crimped design in most cases, is used in mid-line original equipment manufacturing and sold into more price concious aftermarket areas.

The crimped configuration fatigues at a quicker pace than the poured head.

Due to the stresses that the film sees in the production of a crimped head, the great majority of drummers and drum manufacturers agree that the sound of the poured head is significantly superior to that of the crimped head.

hehehe tama n gulo mag papasko n mga bro - nagulat ako s mga post dito, anyways i'm using encore din s snare as in same ng gamit nya wala naman ako naging problem mukhang ntighten ko din ng to the max to kc nga naghahabol ako ng tunog ng parang picollo - cguro mas maganda gamitin s snare is yung remo fiberskyn - sino n nkapag try nito at ano s tingin nyo mga bro?

Buti nabuhay itong thread na ito. Plano ko pa naman sanang palitan ng ENCORE heads yung pang ilalim tsaka ibabaw ng snare ko. Siguro ipon muna ng konti para makabili ng clear & coated ambassadors for my snare.

how'd you ever tune to a note accurately? I tried this dati, I can never tell the drum's fundamental note tips pls sir thanks

sir ang ginawa ko po eh inalis ko muna yung reso,.. then finger tight sa batter, equal tuning sa every rods

mas madali po pakinggan pag walang reso "for me"  
 
then sa keyboard or may be guitar play the higher C# tune tune tune hehe

pag pantay na po do the same sa reso pero kunin mo po sa D para mas ok
