I hate to admit it, but CD/DVD is the future (or the present) of the DJing

budget wise with estimated price:
2x second hand technics 1200 or Stanton or Numark directdrive (recommend ko Technics kasi hindi agad bumababa ang presyo kung sakali ibenta kung hindi para sa iyo ang DJing) = P30-40000
scratch mixer (Stanton SA3 or Numark, at least get the DXM+ or DM 1000+) = P15-20000

kung mayaman ang magulang:
2x Technics 1200 M5G or any high end Stanton or Numark = P60-80000
Rane56 = P30000

Behringer BCD3000 o M-Audio Exponent = P10-15000
+ laptop

include mo pa speakers, amplifiers, cables, headphones, cartridge, needles, etc.

now who wants to battle ?

nice!

very detailed!

+1

re: feeling untouchable djs...

can u please name some names of the djs ur refering to... maybe you can pm me and lets compare notes hehehe. Meron talagang ibang nag champion lang feeling untouchable na pero meron ding iba na more of sharing skills.

i know a group of djs here in manila whos more into education and sharing what they know and they sometimes organize a jam. Anybody can actually tag along specially those who really wants to learn to be a scratch djs.

I just hope this is not the group you're sayin.

Secret :-D

Ako may follow-up question mga masters. So,

1. What would you advice as a good entry level setup for me (na ang habol ay ang scratch sound, I'm not after mixing and stuff)
2. Any tips from those na nasa banda and providing this type of texture to the band sound?

For Bands who wants to have a DJ or a Tabliest in a band, Your 1st concern is the arrangement of your song and you'll give a leeway for the dj in a song.

For your questions...

2. Any tips from those na nasa banda and providing this type of texture to the band sound?

A lot of people often thought that  "Scratching" is just simply moving a record back and forth BUT it is really a skill you need to develop in time.  Its just like playing guitar or any musical instruments. Bottom line is if you want to incorporate a DJ Sound or scratching into a band you should at first know the basics of scratching like rhythm or timing.

1. What would you advice as a good entry level setup for me (na ang habol ay ang scratch sound, I'm not after mixing and stuff)

If you really want a real scratching sound get 1 deck of turntables, a mixer and vinyls for scratching

cool, thanks sa advise sir xjepoyx

yeah nung una akala ko madali lang yung scratch thing, kasi nakakanta ko mga ideas ko, pero given some good tools like my kaoss padd mahirap din pala i-lock madalas nawawala sa timing... ok ipon time for a cheap deck
