I have. No pic though. It's harder than it looks. But you can always do it the same messy way as the one on the pic. Plus, you don't need to glue it.

Not sure if this would work for you. You may need a reducer to give you more time to work with it.

I made some.  Lots of filing (wood rasp) and sanding.  Snug fit.  Can't tell if there were any tonal changes or sustain issues.  Then again, I took it out, reasoning that if I want a stoptail, maybe I should've gotten a stoptail guitar.  So the guitar now always has the trem arm fitted, even though I just use it occasionally.  I just make sure to setup the trem properly.  Still, I keep the woodblocks in the toolbox, in case I change my mind, as it takes a bit of effort to shape it.

Gandy, nice, very resourceful.  Favorite ko yung Pedaltrain - wood edition, winner!  :-D

may naka try na ba sa inyo mag block ng bridge na parang ganito or ibang method para i hard tail ang guitar?

Eto na try ko na din, pero yung pull-up lang ni-block ko for D-tuna.  I left the right side free, para pwede pa din mag dive-bomb.  Moment of truth, naputulan ako ng 1st string, my floyd was still in tune.

With only the pull-up blocked, what I noticed:  When I tighten the springs so much, the strings have greater tension when bending.  Pero when I adjust it just enough para it will still move when I bend 1 1/2 steps, I find that bending strings is easier.

How to remove rust from parts (bridge, trem arm, screws, etc.)? And I really mean rust.

Steel wool? Sandpaper with soap and water? Chemicals?

Sandpaper! Same principle with cars when you remove rust. Finish it with 1000 grit. I haven't tried this on guitar hardwares yet but you can try Turco rust remover, I use it on cars, it eals out the corrosion.

What sandpaper grit to start with? Should I use it with soap and water?

If it's hard to sand off you can use soap and water with the sand paper. For stubborn rusts I use grit 350, then 600, then 800, upto 1,000 to smoothen the finish.

Here's the picture of the Turco.

Like Coke? Yeah, and after 2 weeks or so, the parts will start to rust again. So I've read.

Coke is mostly carbonic and phosphoric acid IIRC. You can have it chrome plated afterwards para brand new! :-D

Acid vs. Acid. :)

But try Turco, it guarantees rust never to return because it cooks up the rust and forms gray coating.
This is what I use for treating old rusted parts of cars.

Hey Karl, I just bought a green billet of mahogany and let it sit for a year. I'm thinking bookmatched backs and sides. Want some? Hehehe!

Ikaw pala yun! Didn't put 2 and 2 together when I clicked "Approve".

Sige. Lagyan ko ng pangalan mo yung isang set. I could probably squeeze 3 sets from the small haul. Got the plank for 300 bucks. See guys? Wood is cheap ;-)

I'm moving this DIY question here for easier reference to whoever needs the info:

Pedalboard people:

Anyone tried to create a switching unit that does the following:
* ON: Your pedalboard chain is routed as follows: Guitar --> pre-pre effects --> Amp preamp --> efx loop (mod effects + delay) --> back to amp
* OFF: your whole pedalboard goes in front of the amp.

I've researched some stuff in the net, and I found someone who used a 3PDT switch and 2PDT, so this looks feasible.  But I did not know what the result was.  So I'm trying to design a box with 3 in and 3 out and a 3PDT switch to achieve the above.  See below:

Anyone tried to do this?  Magkaka problem ba to sa ground?  Before I buy the materials, I'd like to know if this will work.  Appreciate any inputs.  Please do not ask me "why I want to do this?", hehe.  I know I can just turn off the amp and re-configure my cable so I don't have to do this, but I just want to  :-D.  Anyway, appreciate your help if you have experience on this.

Routing when switch is "ON"

Signal routing when switch is "OFF"

ME.
I'm currently using a GCX Audio Switcher (8 LOOPS) for this routing though.

My analog pedals (OD, Dist, Mod) in LOOPS 1,2,3,5 are in front of my amp. LOOP 4 is set for my amp's BOOST function. LOOP 6 is at my amp's FX Send/Return (Delay Pedals). LOOP 7 is my amp's CHANNEL 2. LOOP 8 is my amp's CHANNEL 3.

How about this?
My 2 loop switcher and FXsend return blender.SW1-on/off while SW2 to toggle between the two loops.Blender always on(for mod and delay).

Sa block diagram mo naman ok naman sa tingin ko using 3PDT wala lang LED.Possible problem yung FXsend return noise(long cables).

Yun bro!  You're the guy who has a wicked custom pedals.  Thanks!  How does your blender work?  Kala ko kanina Jim Dunlop yun hinanap ko sa site nila.  Custom pala yan, tapos may sticker, hehe.  Naisip ko din nga walang LED.  Second option ko is tatlong DPDT and manually ko na lang pipindutin each switch.  Medyo mas cumbersome nga lang pero at least naka switch both ground and hot.  Pwede ba natin to dalhin sa DIY thread? http://talk.philmusic.com/index.php?topic=262908.0  I plan to test this in a breadboard this weekend eh before I buy the components.

Pwede din siguro electronic switch para one button lang using 4053 kaya lang hindi na true bypass.About my blender i got the idea from scott henderson using it para may dry signal pa rin from fx send to return.ma adjust natin yung mix between dry and wet going to the fx return.More or less same principle gamit ni luke na dry center amp and wet both left and right amps only we are using only one amp.Always experimenting to get better tones at lower cost hehe.
Hmmm... haha, gets ko konti, pero yung box mo has 8 jack inputs, and two footswitches.  What goes where and ano yung function ng footswitches?

Regarding the 4053, it reminds me of college, haha.  Pero help me out since hindi ko naging career ang course ko.  Below is the tech sheet of 4053 na nakita ko.  Tama ba na yung "a" "b" "c" are the inputs/outputs coming from my pedalboard, then "ax/ay", "bx/by" and "cx/cy" yung kung saan ir route yung signal based sa input from A B C?  Pag inimplement ko ba to, kelangan ko pa ng mga resistors and capacitors?  Or pwede straight na lang yung IC?  I can put LED before A B C para pag nag apply ako ng voltage, kasama na yung LED.  I guess yung advantage lang dito vs a 3PDT is pwede ako maglagay ng LED.

+1 Marami niyan sa ACE.

Another thing, para makatipid, kumuha ka na lang ng straight na block ng kahoy at dun mo i-wrap yung sandpaper. That will save you a bit. Same purpose din naman.  :-)
