Electric Drums Monitoring
« on: May 22, 2009, 02:49:30 PM »
How would you amplify your e-drums in your rehearsal studio? Let's say you have a stereo out from your edrums?

Ok ba ito?
E-drums - crossover - 2 mid-hi powered speakers & 1 powered sub

If yes, anong sizes ng mid hi speakers at sub gagamitin nyo?

Kung hindi naman, anong setup ang prefered nyo?

I use a medeli elctronic kit hooked to a peavey mixer then out sa 2 powered 12" evo monitor. I use a buttkicker nakalagay sa drum throne to enhance the low rumbling a bit more.

Pag gusto ko naman ng ako lang ang makakadinig, skullcandy headphones at buttkicker swak na swak na.  :-D

A powered 15" should be enough.

I use a Peavey KB/A 100 and a Roland PM10. Panalo yung Peavey. Yung Roland PM 10, medyo bitin. Ok din kung sabay sila since left and right ang output nung module.

In my case, everyone is connected to the mixer and we all monitor via headphones. Its generally quieter (and cleaner) and we all tend to listen more closely to everyone and to the mix. The cons for the drummer is it might not be the best setup if he needs more feedback on his drum playing.

I'm using just a pc speaker, it has 5 speakers and subwoofer. so far yung mga nakakajam ko sa kwarto is ok naman daw. I just dunno kung anu ang namimiss ko for using just a pc speaker. wala kasi akong idea sa mga drum monitor or powered speaker or mixers and etc.. :-(
