i thought i had tinnitus so....

I went to the doctor muffled talaga left ear and the right ear was also compromised. I was reduced to lip reading in a crowded room. I went to an ear specialist and she inserted a probe inside it and it was nothing but compacted WAX. All those years of using earbuds pushed the ear wax further and further inside sealing the inner ear.
I could see her scraping off the ear wax thru her monitor and slowly feeling the sensation of having hi-fi hearing again. When she was thru with both ears i felt so relieved. My hearing is now SO CLEAR and defined I felt like i got a fresh set of ears. She recommended to just clean the outer part of the ear and never use earbuds or insert anything that far.
She also said that my ears are in perfect condition so all this paranoia of mine bout tinnitus and ear damage was laid to rest.
I was seriously depressed this past two weeks coz of this and was so elated i went home cranked my amp, chained the Zero and just wailed away

that happened to me some few years back. before i went to the doctor i was in constant pain. and believe me, it was the worst feeling. di ka makatulog dahil sa sakit.

anyway, yung "actual operation" was over in just a matter of minutes. and painless too. the doctor just dropped some kind of liquid over the affected ear and just "yanked" the damned thing off it.

sa logic na sinabi sa akin lalabas ng kusa yung wax sa border ng ating tenga. The wax inside was there maybe as a safeguard na pag pumasok mga maliliit na insekto they get stuck immediately at di na umaabot pa sa loob.
Sabi pa nya yung wax ko daw ay the sticky type so i guess iba iba tayo ng type. What was really cool though was getting a first hand look INSIDE my ear and was basically staring at the eardrum and was able to see the inner ear. Near the eardrum was pretty smooth with no hair and before that was were the wax was produced and were all the hair was located.
Im more careful now even though she said both pairs are in very good condition.

oo nga  But believe it or not masakit rin yung nararamdaman ko nung puno ng wax yung tenga ko. Some sharp sensation every now and then. Then when im singing all alone at home with the acoustic parang nag fi-feedback sa loob ng tenga yung sensation at dinig. Not cool at all....but im all better now

I don't use plugs, actually, I have always used headphone style ear protection. When I saw Brad Delson from Linkin Park using those, I had to admit his were much cooler lookin' and smaller too!
