Nice gibson family you have there!

Nice Gibson family bro!  :)

Thanks bros!
what exact model is that on the far right? that's from 70's right?

Gibson L6--S Custom bro

nice collection. kamusta yun t-tops? :)

Ok naman bro, in fact I'm actually liking it. It has a milder tone particularly on the neck pickup, as for the bridge it tends to sound brighter compared to the other Gibson 49x pickups

nice one bro. i installed the same with my tie dye.

Yep, the sheptones are good. You can also ask Micsis when we installed and tested it on my tie-dye. On the neck pickup, it made the tone more transparent and clearer. As for the bridge, it sounds a tad brighter but in a good way, and it's not harsh-sounding.

salamat kapatid!

oo bro, mas clear and bright compared sa BBs.
sa set up ko mas matapang sa bridge, neck is more jazzy. depends pa rin sa tonal adjustment.

Retained ba yung clarity and still sounding fat and honky? Sheptones do get great reviews, together with wolfetones.

Throbacks are darn expensive :(

thanks for the info. i almost ordered these kaso ang tagal ng wait time 4 weeks then delivery is 2-3 weeks, so i decided to get a  a2p slash set, also zebra. mighty fine pickups but not as sweet as mules.  :)

Buti naka hirit ka na kunan ng Pics sa Swee Lee, last time I went there, this guy took some pero he was asked to not take photos. Sa BB showroom ba to?

Bro, sorry for the late reply, just got to backtrack at ngayon ko lang nakita message mo!

Yup that was inside the Fender room sa Swee Lee. I was fortunate to test and play 5 guitars in that room - Les Paul aka "Goldie", a Fender CS Esquire and Tele, a Roadworn tele and Kurt Cobain's signature Jaguar all thru a Fender Deluxe Reverb (that darn DRRI in Swee Lee was such a sweet amp! I thought it sang because of goldie so I requested for MIM's to plug in the amp and turns out even tele and jag sang as well!). The girl(manager?) was the one attending to me and I politely asked if it's ok to take pics and she said she smiled with a "sure". =)

Here was the Les Paul aka "goldie":

I'll try to search my files, so I can post the other pics. =)

@faceless, I found the pics na from the stuff I tried in Swee Lee.  :)

Just wanna share more pics of aka "Goldie":

I'll post the other guitars I tried with the DRRI (tele and jaguar) in their respective threads since this is a Gibson thread. :)

I'm finally going to be able to join this thread! Here's my first Gibson ever. It's a 1996 Gibson SG Special (got it from Sir jm the mute). I've always been a Fender guy (Strats, Teles) but I also had the chance to own a nice lawsuit LP copy before. I'm the nth owner but let me just say that this guitar just sings.  I really like the fat profile of the neck. I also like the Seymour Duncan SH-1 (neck)/ Gibson Classic 57 (bridge) combo, very warm and vintage sounding pair. The coil split options also give me a variety of tones. This plus a Wampler Plextortion and a Lovepedal Eternity Burst = tone heaven. All in all, I'm a very happy camper and I hope that I get the chance to own more Gibson guitars in the future particularly an LP (this thread is just full of majestic LPs). Cheers!
