hello!! magic the gathering players!.. hehe.. dito tayo usap.. or deal.. hehe.. naghahanap kasi ako ng cards na ok.. haha
black-red ako.. blaster ung red, with few creatures.. ung black, knting creatures rin, and terror, darkbanishing..
naghahanap ako ng royal assasin.. bka meron sa inyo nagbebenta nun.. hehe
kayo? ano naman tips nyo? hehe

isa sa mga paboritong combination ko dito ay fenk (red at white haha). red is for the cheese and some creatures...tapos white is my defense (swords, disenchants etc).
pag mono color, red trip ko lagi.

haha.. onga.. lakas ng red, and madali pa gamitin.. hehe.. ok rin ung green red, tpos green mo mana source, para disintigrate or kaervek's torch.. haha

Dati naglalaro ako nito kaso mahal yung cards e...hindi pa kaya ng budget noon...hehe...
Red - Green yung deck ko...weenie tapos may kaunting keso..hehe :-D

meron ako lahat ng klase nun
green reanimator deck
red black blaster deck
blue red defensive deck
sliver deck
white shadow deck
red green burner deck
hehehe. yan ang tawag ko sa set up ng mga deck ko dati.
pinakamalakas ko yung green reanimator tsaka red black blaster. may panalo na dito sa amin na tig isang tournament yun. dapat green pa rin yung pangalawa kaso binan dito sa amin. madaya daw kasi hehehehe.... kaya yung blaster deck ko ginamit ko. tapos naubos na pera ko, di na ako nakapag-update ng cards huhuhuu....

uhm.. may deck pa ako, kya lng type one na to e, its a black zombie cleric deck, un may rotlung reanimator tska oversold cemetery, may scion of darkness din.. haha :-D

sa akin rin hindi pwede sa type 2. haha kumpleto ba naman ako sa lightning bolts saka incinerate. tapos 3 x burners of each kind. tapos puro may haste yung creatures ko. yun yung basic content ng red white ko.

type 1 rin lahat ng cards ko.. nagstart ako sa fifth ed.. nung grade5.. tpos parang tinago ko lang kasi ndi pa ko marunong.. lol.. bumalik nalang ulet nung hs1.. haha..

you can try buying at neutral grounds. tapos baka maka-tsamba ka ng collector doon lalo na pag may tournament doon.

May turbo stasis rin ako dati, but walang gusto makipaglaro sakin kung yun gamit ko e..
malaki laki rin pala nagastos ko...

Red is for impatient players.
I like......rather I love to irritate my opponent. I use black/green (with a hint of....).
I'm a Type 1 player, with rules that applied when Alliances came (ang tagal na).

as i said meron akong red/ black, blaster/creature destroyer.. pero walang epek sa black na kalaban.. haha thats y i need a royal assasin..
another deck i have is bluespitter.. well binubuo pala.. kasi may knting kulang pa, i just photocopied 4 cards.. hahaha.. cheap cards lang naman.. wala lang time maghunt ng cards.. hehe.. counter cya, with a bunch of "(tap)deals one damage to target creature or player" creature cards.. ehehhe.. ganda sana kung may force of will... pero ang mahal!!! hahaha
ung isa ko pang deck is red/green.. elves for mana, tpos red ko kaervek's torch and a bunch of other instants.. hehe
so sino sa inyo may royal assasin na ibebenta? i need two!! haha

pero may mga kaofficemate ngayon na naglalaro din ng magic so nabuhay ulit yung "Magic"-ian part sa akin... binubuo ko Blue White Blink deck, type II sana sya kaya lang naabutan na ng Lorwyn, di pa din buo... :cry:

may isang binder pa ako ng mga cards dito pero mga type 1 narin ahehhe
yung iba complete pa ang set (4pcs)
baka merong gustong bumili jan makaktulong po yun ahehehe, pm nio lang ako for card titles and pricings ahehehe

i started playing magic when mirrodin was rotating out... i quit before Ravnica block ended...
i had a lot of T2 cards ... and i completed all the painlands... yun nga lang, i sold them along with some Wrath of God (i had FOUR sets, wahehehe), and jitte's.
i also had a lot of T2 tournament ready decks... i was most proud of:
1.) Tooth and Nail
2.) Selensya Greater Good
3.) Enduring Ideal Deck
4.) Emminent Domain
5.) Orzhov Discard Aggro
basta ... hehehe... i still have some of the cards now, but kulang na mga pyesa for any of it to be tournament viable...
laki ng gastos ko sa magic nun... i think umabot ata ng 60K ... im glad im done with that addiction. mahirap maaddict dun since di mi mababawi pera mo unless you buy and sell on a regular basis and lagi kang updated sa hot cards.

tapos bumili ako ng tmac6 pangbball and another adidas na pang drums naman, so okay na rin hehehe.
i still have my 2 decks with me, Maga-Heartbeat and Mind's Desire-Heartbeat. combo decks. nanalo rin ako sa isang tournament dahil kay Maga.
sa ngayon, ang tinatago or binibili ko na lang eh mga textless cards, this time magastos ulit kasi textless damnation naman ang kelangan ko bilin.

memorize ko pa yung combo... ang hindi ko memorize is kung tama na ba yung mana ko pang combo out... minsan bitin eh, hahahaha....
may FnM card ako nung Icy Manipulator, hehehe... yun lang ata trophy ko since im more of a bedroom and internet player...

astig! ganyan ang una kong combo pero walang meloku. green myojin, kuro and zealot nga, kuro pang alis ng weenie blockers na usually galing sa meloku ng kalaban.
madalas kasi na may meloku kalaban ko noon kaya d umubra sa akin. pero nilagyan ko ng 4 na kokusho, lose 20 sya gain 20 ako. :-)
nakachamba ako minsan, turn 3 maga combo. :-) super swerte sa kamay and super swerte sa bunot.

i know, mejo stop ako magic ngyn kasi naattach na ako sa ravnica/timespiral blocks na control ngyn kasi puros aggro, pero meron ako kithkin mono white ang sarap lagyan mirror weave kaya ata sa 4th turn kaya maglabas ng 24 damage. kaso di ako sinisipag bumili ng pyesa ngyn. hehe

depende talaga bro. i got once one set of badlands for 1.2k set. ngayon almost 2k na isang piraso. but syempre lands kasi yun, di masyado bumababa prices ng langs.
i remember bentahan sa Shadowmage Infiltrator is 900 isa. ngayon is 150 na lang ata. Sobrang mahal yung urza's rage dati, 1.2k isa. ngayon, 250 na lang ata. yung blastoderm, supposed to be 5 pesos lang isa, common kasi, but bentahan sa kanya 50. walang gumagamit ng Orim's chant dati, 100 isa lang, ngayon 600 na ata. di ko sure kung tama mga prices ko, matagal na rin ako di nag checheck ng prices e.
depende talaga sa lumalabas na rulings, gameplays, combos etc. yung prices ng cards.

Yes, M:tG is really enjoyable. But playing a competitive deck is one thing. You have to "invest" much on it. There are certain Type 2 cards that cost 1,500 pesos (especially the planeswalkers). Jace, the Mind Sculptor even skyrocketed to 3,000 PhP. Besides, maximizing a card's potential to being drawn means having four copies of it. Lols. That's why I stopped being an active and competitive M:tG player. The game became so financially demanding. I couldn't see anymore the value in spending thousands of cash on pieces of cardboard. Yes, M:tG is really enjoyable. But playing a competitive deck is one thing. You have to "invest" much on it. There are certain Type 2 cards that cost 1,500 pesos (especially the planeswalkers). Jace, the Mind Sculptor even skyrocketed to 3,000 PhP. Besides, maximizing a card's potential to being drawn means having four copies of it. Lols. That's why I stopped being an active and competitive M:tG player. The game became so financially demanding. I couldn't see anymore the value in spending thousands of cash on pieces of cardboard. So I sold most of my sellable cards, then BOOM! May budget na for GAS! :-D

When I was still super-active in T2 scene, I used to buy singles from Ongkeco. That was during the Lorwyn days when Kithkin, Faeries, and Demigods rule the tourney scene. Yeah, it's true that some of those cards (especially Legacy/Vintage piyesa) are worth collecting because their prices are already expected to keep on rising. But LOLS, I sold my T2 cards and bought myself pedals. And I never regretted selling them. For me, sulit ang Black Lotus if you really are a Magic fanatic and are active in Vintage. But meh... IF I have one, I'd sell it and buy myself good guitar.
I'm located here in Davao City and there are also M:tG players here like the Chee Brothers (Crisler and Cristerson). The only reason I still go to their shop is because of the community we Magic players have built here. Even though I don't play anymore, it's still fun to hang around with the guys every once in a while. Pahiram2x na lang ako ng deck ngayon if ever I'd join an FNM tourney. But no, I wouldn't want to spend on M:tG anymore. Not unless piyesa for the cheapest Legacy deck, which is Burn, lols. Chain Lightning na lang rin naman kulang ko, so no fuss.

This. Sa T2, bihira lang. Hit or miss. Or late-bloomer. Like Tarmogoyf. Trash rare lang ang iyan nung bagong labas pa lang. Pero T1 staples like P9 and duals, fetches, good investment talaga. Type 2? No thanks. Prices would eventually fluctuate unless T1 staple rin like Jace Ver2.

- How much would it cost me to build a new one? Last deck I had was a Mirage which I got for 300 bucks back then. Have prices gone up?
- Where are the best places to play? It'd be great if you can lead me to a few in the Cainta/Antipolo/Marikina area.

Tumigil na ako maglaro ng MTG 3 months ago, pero mejo updated pa rin ako sa meta ngayon. Siguro kung blue/green ang balak mo, it wouldn't be cheap. Try mo nalang magmono green, mag elf deck nalang or kung gusto mo masmura, go with mono red, Goblins or RDW. Cheap but pretty fast and deadly.
Tungkol naman sa price, YES, nagmahal na ang MTG ngayon compare nung 1998. Kung standard ka maglalaro, masmakatitipid ka, pero yung pagtitipid mo na yun tipong 6-10k a deck, kung type 1 naman, asahan mong nasa 20k pataas cost ng deck mo. Pero yung lang kung competitive deck ang hanap mo.
Punta ka nalang sa E-ton near Robinson's Galleria or Glorrietta 4. Daming players dun.

1 Darksteel Colossus
20 Plains
4 Dark Ritual
then wala! I usually adjust the zoom to 94-95%
EDIT :
make sure you get the spelling right else website will not recognize the card.
print then have fun & its much cheaper this way.
