gotta love them PRS tops! just got a quick question on PRS tops - are they similar to LP top plates or just drop-top plates? drop-top plates are commonly used for strats and teles.

diba PRS guitars usually have mahogany body woods and maple top woods? i was asking if kung yung type pa ng top wood plate nila is similar to the ones used in LPs (which are a bit thicker) or the ones used in strats/teles which are called drop-top plates.

Hmm. That got me thinking too. Might not be as thick as the LPs pero maybe thicker than the Strats.

Kasi unlike the traditional LPs na may maple top tapos yung kanto eh may plastic binding pa, ang ginagawa sa PRS eh yung mismong binding effect ay yung kanto na nung maple top mismo. So medyo manipis siya sa part na yun. Tapos bonggang kumakapal habang pumupunta sa gitna since naka arch pa siya. lol.
