anu poh pede qong pede kong bilin na pedal? mahirap lang poh kc kami eh... di ko poh kaya and elims. nor cobras. lalo na ung dw's. kung gibraltar namn mhal pa rin? :-(hirap talga maging mahirap.

Kaya Tama kinuha ko kasi heavy duty at wala masyadong screws and hinges na maaaring lumuwag in the long run.
Heavy duty and low-maintenance (alagang punas lang at oiling every 6 months sa chains at footboard hingers), at saka smooth action, kaya trip ko.

Depende pa rin sa tao kung ano ang gusto niyang cam shape sa Tama kung Power or Rolling. Maraming drummer dito ang naka-Powerglide, lalo na mga metal drummers, dahil sa speed na pwedeng makuha dito - yung off-shape cam ang nagpapabilis ng response ng beater. Balita ko nga sa metal scene sa Olongapo, puro mga Iron Cobra ang gamit ng mga tao doon. Sa Audiophile, yun lang ang available cam shape.

Yung Flexi naman, ang difference lang e belt-driven siya na Power-glide. Kaya mas magaan, at may floating feel.

May ilan naman, tulad ng inyong lingkod, na gusto e control ang uunahin - kung ano ang pressure ng paa, yun din ang response ng beater. Kaya Rolling glide ang choice ko.

Pero sa totoo lang, minor lang naman ang difference. Pwede rin naman magkaroon ng control sa Power glide, at pwede bumilis sa Rolling glide. Nasa drummer pa rin yan.

Kasi katulad ng ibang drum item, you get what you pay for. Kung Lazer ang binili mo, baka hindi mo magustuhan yung lack of balance sa slave pedal. May kaibigan akong metal drummer din na gumagamit ng Lazer hanggang ngayon, at hanggang ngayon e nahuhulugan siya ng connecting rod sa gitna ng performance.

Kung budget ang inaalala mo, bili ka ng Pearl P122TW (Powershifter twin pedal), Tama HP200TW (Iron Cobra Jr. twin pedal), o di kaya yung Gibraltar Avenger twin pedal. Sila yung intermediate version ng high-end pedals. Pwede kang tulungan ni sir JP, sir Tarkuz, o ni sir Bike tungkol dito.

for a smoother feel, i'd go for belt drives, but for quick responsive attacks, i'd choose chain direct drives.
tama IC's and Pearl Elims are good quality pedal at a reasonable price. Sorry for Dw users because i find their pedals too expensive and less durable compared to the 2 pedals mentioned.
But a friend of mine told me that the Dw 9000 series are much advanced compared with their 7000's and 5000's....pero ang mahal! i don't know about the Axis pedals, pero sabi sa mga reviews maganda raw.

Different ang cams ng Flexiglide and Powerglide. Powerglide has an oblong cam that's attached a bit off center. The Flexiglide cam is basically a flat-ish tongue of metal that sticks out. Maybe because of where the strap gets its bwelo, but the effect is a faster-snapping pedal in the case of the Flexiglide.

I have a Flexiglide double and I like it more than the Power or Rolling more just because I'm used to belt drives (as my first pedal was). I guess I feel more comfortable when I don't feel the rest of the pedal (like I feel with chain drives in general) kasi strap lang ang connection... which probably contributes to the more floating feel. It feels easier to snap, but harder to control than chains.

I haven't tried the belt-driven Elims so I really can't compare.

Has anyone tried mixing-and-matching belt/chain driven main and slave pedals sa double? I figured baka mas appropriate ang chain sa left ko, since it's my "weaker" foot.

gibraltar or sonor ka na lang kung budget conscious ka, pag may budget ka naman, cobras or elims na lang, di mo pagsisisihan pagbili sa mga yan.

i have, we have the same issue, well i have weak legs entirely (strength-wise) so to speak but i can run and kick fast with both, its just that mahina talaga strength dun thats why belts really work fine for me. if you'll put the chain on the left and weak foot mo yun, the more it will have a hard time stayin at pace with the right. imho and experience.
