Entry-level & Mid-level Cymbals thread
« on: August 17, 2006, 05:16:03 PM »

sir migs gusto ko nga sana yung pst5 ride mo kaso meron pako ride na ginagamit ngayon so im reserving pa my budget for the hats. siguro sir nxt tym makakabili rin ako sa inyo.

thanks ulit mga sir.  :D

i have heard ALOT of people bashing zildjian zbt's.
pero to be totally blunt, ok sa tenga ko yung 18" crash/ride nila.
dark and mid lang yung sustain.

all i can say is, try niyo muna kung ano ang meron locally.

dude b8(SABIAN) and zbt 4(ZILDJIAN) is the best solution of all! 16 thousand bucks lang pero i think for a life time mo na gagamitin! tutal girl namn ang gagamit!

try to visit some jb music and perfect pitch or yamaha stores!!!

im a zbt 4 pro user since 2001 and im a heavy hitter sa skin and cymbals pero buong buo pa din....!!

I agree. I'm leaning towards the B8's though. I'm a Zildjian guy but hey, the B8 crash I used in a gig last week had a section chipped off yet still sounded great. If you're on a budget, the Sabian B8's or Zildjian zXt's will do nicely. You can even score a set for around 10k second hand if you wait for a good deal. If you have money however, then move on to the A Zildjians or Sabian AA's. (This is completely subjective though. In my opinion, I just see A's and AA's as diverse cymbals.)

Totoo yan, I'm a zbt 4 pro owner too bro, matibay siya. :)

Although I'm a Sabian guy. I got used to in playing the ZXTs, their sort of the tamer version of Sabian B8 Pros.
But if you'll gonna go for Sabian, go for the B8 Pros, imho.
