Here are some of my drumming regrets...
During my high school days... One day, I was strolling around Megamall. There was a mall-wide sale, and I stopped by an Odyssey cd store. I saw Tony Williams' Wilderness cd - on sale! I was broke that day. I had the money to buy it, but I didn't; I was that thrifty then. The following year, the great Tony Williams died. I wish I bought that cd... One of his final recordings! I can't find an original copy of it anymore.
Also back in my high school days... I cut out some of my Modern Drummer magazines. I made collages and posters out of it. Some photos of nice drumkits and my favorite drummers... I tore it out and mounted it on my Trapper Keeper school binder. I wish I was wise enough then not to do that. What a waste of valuable reading resources. Now, I'm taking great care of my Modern Drummer magazine collection.
I also wish that I've attended those local drum clinics during the late 90s/early 2000. Katche, Bissonette, Chambers... I missed their drum clinics. I was ignorant with drumming events then.
