Mike Terrana's kit with two chinas up high. No cymbal stands nor racks used in his kit (AFAIK/except hihat stand).

For monster multi-tom setups, there is Hal Blaine's kit, and Ludwig's clone of it the "Octaplus"... http://allthingsloud.blogspot.com/2008/10/historic-drum-sets-hal-blaines-monster.html

... and Keith Moon's "Lily" kit
http://allthingsloud.blogspot.com/2008/10/historic-drum-sets-hal-blaines-monster.html

But the granddaddy of them all is Gene Krupa, who is acknowledged by some as having developed the modern drum set, and cymbal setup. http://www.drummerman.net/gkkit.html

Thomas Pridgen's and Dennis Chambers' three up three down.
Tried Travis Orbin's set-up and it really got me to think creatively.
Matt Greiner's set seems to be a popular way to set up.

Purple Monster ni Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater pa sya)

Seimese Monster din ni Mike Portnoy

Another epic iconic drums for me is Dave Weckl's Kit.

Just let your music fill the empty spaces in you. It's all you have so take advantage of it. It's a gift!
