honestly, i dont care about elim's infinite cams.. i'd go for self control talaga...
i use IC. mas ok sa maintainance. does the job very fine..

Well all i cam say to this topic is still your choice ang masusunod. which is which talaga. just think carefully.... this both pedals are so very good i once handled pearl products Elims are also good and the responce is . i've used it before. but eventually like drumster did... i sold it too for so many reasons, and i pick IC... on my point of view on eliminator pedal when you find the right cams on your footwork. how about the other two cams? they will be useless in time. kasi kung nasanay na yung footwork mo sa cam na pinili mo. its very difficult to shift to other cams. back to zero ka ulit. and besides its only a plastic cams. eventually in time lumuluwag yung lock ng cams kasi nakaclip lang yun diba? and the clip usually nagluloose. That ive been experienced before.... so i have to put the other cams. so again i have to practice myself on the footwork for that particular cam. back to zero ako. so i decided to shift to IC kasi sturdy na yung cams nya. kung masira man yung cams you'll spend years before that happens.

But still its your choice to make. choose wisely...

as a drummer i dont need a fancy pedal all i need is self control like Mr. El Brutal... right on bro...  God Bless...

i've been using my pearl elims for 2 straight years...siguro depende din sir sa pag alaga, both of these pedals are made to last, if ever there would be any malfunctions regarding the pedal, siguro it's not pearl nor tama to be blamed. These are "machines" to be operated...if hell breaks loose, It ain't the pedal...It's the drummer, unless it is a factory defect, but as a responsible consumer/buyer, it is our obligation to check the item first before purchasing....

But of course, through time nothing remains new.

just my thoughts...

for me, i like the feel of the Elims...

again, also for me, i find the ICs a bit heavier than the usual. but if you're able to pound those ICs for 240bms, your're good! same goes with the elims!...hehehe balimbing :-D

ELIMS for me!!

grabe ang adjustment nya, pero solve ka nman pagnahanap mo na yung settings mo. i just found my settings last night!! nagulat and impress tlga ako sa elims. here's my settings.

beater angle- 37 degrees from the bass head (estimate lang)
cams- RED ( grabe itong cam na 'to pang 32nd note on your double bass drummin')
tension- my spring tension medium to heavy on both pedals
power shifter- light
drive- belts

very light sya pero matindi yung impact..

I got my IC last year courtesy of Sir wipe out, nung una wala tlga akong magawang mgnda sa IC ko hahahaha tagal ko makuha ung feel and its true talgang mabigat sya, kaya cgro hirap ako kasi im not that really hard hitter sa bass drum eh, siguro sa tagal ko na ginagamit ive learned to adapt na lang hehehe, only last night nung napagkwentuhan namin ni sir sam of subscapular about the IC's, pwede mo rin pla pagaanin kahit konti ung mga ic's mgexperiment ka lang about the tension etc.

and mukhang ok nga but i got to test it pa sa gigs or sa prktis hehehe,

anyway thanks to sir sam of subscapular for the tips!!!

Both pedals are great but for speeding death metal playing.. i choose the "Elims"  pag sakin papalitan ko lang ng duo beaters ok na..
but for "metal only" playing and hardware wise ok "IC" kaso ingat lang sa vari pitch nya ... depende narin tlga sa paa at legs ng nagamit..

on my point of view  i would go with the Pearl Elims since ive been using the elims for 1 year and 6months now.. and i had no problems with it..

still TAMA's IC are very good depends on ur taste actually as a drummer.

onga. na aadjust pa yung foot board nun. pag binaba mas parang mahaba lalo

PowerShifter Feature
The PowerShifter allows the footboard to move forward or backward to change the leverage for light, normal, or heavy feel. Combined with the Interchangeable Cam System, the PowerShifter Eliminator is the most adjustable pedal in the world.

I'd go for Pearl Elims, nakagamit na ako ng Tama IC and Dw 2000, di ko nagustuhan touch nya. Pero kung may budget pang Axis nyahahaha! Bakit hindi!

tama ka dude! kung may budget ka nga naman for axis, why not? haha! I also agree for the elims, because IC's feel is heavier than elims. you'll have to do much adjustments in IC for your right feel in pedals.

ang kinagandahan lng po sir ng IC ay kahit mabilis na ang kick mo, hindi pa din nagbabago yung volume ng sound nya, hnd tulad ng elims, kapag sobrang bilis ka na, nagiging lite na yung sound nya. :D
