I recently noticed that the Z time magazine came in with the new stocks of cymbals that arrived through recent time. I approached the sales person at JB and asked if I could have one..he said (which I already expected he would..)"binibigay lang namin yan dun sa mga bibili ng Zildjian products" si I replied "cge na dati kasi nung bumili ako la naman kayo stock"..so that day I failed to acquire the magazine. Then I came back and approached a different sales person, did the same thing and received the same remark..so I came prepared this time with a cymbal purchase receipt I made some time last year just to be more convincing that I do buy their Zildjian products which luckily was lying around the house..but he still refused to give one..so I said "bakit naman ganun, naka ilang Zildjian products na ko tapos nagkataon lang na wala kayong stock nung Z time eh tapos ngayon na meron ayaw nyo mamigay nang isa lang?"
..still I failed and felt frustrated going home.. :-(
I do understand that it takes JB/Zildjian some freight expenses to bring limited quantities of their Z time magazine unlike in USDM where it is readily available FREE, no purchase necessary whatsoever..so my question to you guys is..is it fair? :|
(just wanted to get your comments to ease up some of my frustration..hehe! :lol:)

meron masusungit talaga or talagang sunod sa utos...
ibang scenario naman sakin... nakita ko sa north edsa na jb ung field series3000
ng zildjian(marching snare stick) na magandang pangpractice...
i've been searching for that talaga.. matagal na.. nung nagtanung ako...
sabe free lang po un sa mga bibili ng drumset.. sabe ko.. pwede naman bilin di ba? ayaw.. free lang sa drumset daw.. ayun.. nakausap ko lahat ng tao dun sa
jb na un.. same thing... hay.. ineexplain ko na how can u make this sticks free when it's designed for a field drum.. hindi xia pang drumset dahil sobrang taba niya..

Luckily, I haven't experienced bad customer service from JB OR Perfect Pitch. The JB guys in Southmall and Alabang Town Center were really accommodating... We even talk about drum stuff sometimes. Just got the Z-Time 07 for free a week ago.

isa ako sa students ni papa alvin na inuutusan niyang kumuha ng magazines sa JB :lol:, nakakakuha naman kami..if it says "free" then its free! :lol:

para sakin hindi fair kasi pano dadami ang magkakainterest na maging drummer o lalago sa tulong ng mga ganitong magazines na dapat ay free and kung makukuha lang kapag bibili ka ng cymbals, and and alam ko talaga libre yan, kahit saang music store din dito sa china o hongkong libre yan heheheheh, di ko lang alam kung talagang alam ng zildjian management tong nangyayari jan about theyr z time magazine, nangyari na din kasi sakin yan dati diyan sa pinas...just my comment :)

Nyak! Sa JB Park Square naman, di naman ganun. Sa katunayan nga, sabi nila kuha na rin daw ako para sa mga kakilala ko e! Pero isa lang talaga kinuha ko haha.
Ang isa pang maganda ngayon doon, pinapasubok na nila ang mga cymbals nila! Pinapapasuot ka nga lang ng gloves nila doon, but still, ok na diba?! At last nasubukan ko na yung hybrid at efx crashes! Yeh.

naisip ko na rin yung situation na to isang beses. hehe, nice thread. :-D
yung 2006 Z time mag, kinuha ko lang. i have 3 issues: 2005, '06, '07
yung '05 pati '07, sa tom lee ko kinuha. sa tom lee, kahit wala kang bilhin, pwede ka nang makakuha eh. pero nakakahiya naman kung wala.. :-)
among the three, pinakagusto ko yung '06 (yung kulay yellow) :-D

Luckily, I haven't experienced bad customer service from JB OR Perfect Pitch. The JB guys in Southmall and Alabang Town Center were really accommodating... We even talk about drum stuff sometimes. Just got the Z-Time 07 for free a week ago.

naencounter nio na ba ung mga staff sa jb megamall? uber nightmare, ndi na nga namamansin tapos pag nagtanong ka masama pa sumagot.. :x may time pa nga na sasabihin agad nila na wala sila ng hinahanap mo without checking first, then pag iba tinanong mo meron... :?

yap parang last week nagtanong lang ako kung may stock sila na grabber clamp sinabi wala agad hindi man lang tinignan sa list kung may available pa...tsk
puro bago na nga mukha ng mga nagtitinda dun eh, pero may mabait dun eh matangkad na nakaoasis na hair...naaalala ko last december bumili ako ng boomstand, khit wala na sila stock binigay nya ung naka display laki pa ng discount ahehe...nagbluetooth pa sya sa ken ng software, metronome using mobile...mas ok pa rin sa jb park square ska sa Salonga Cubao...and regarding nman sa Z time...free un kahit walang paalam kuha ka lang...ahehe :-D

Luckily, I haven't experienced bad customer service from JB OR Perfect Pitch. The JB guys in Southmall and Alabang Town Center were really accommodating... We even talk about drum stuff sometimes. Just got the Z-Time 07 for free a week ago.

Si Jericho Salonga, personal na pumunta sa JB Alabang nung kumuha ako ng Gretsch MC....tinawagan ko din sya that time....di ko lang sya kilala personally kaya wala akong alam na sya na pala/ata yung long-haired guy na dumating.
Ok mga tao dun...ayoko lang pumasyal ngayon, baka atakihin ako ng GAS. :-D

last saturday bumili ako ng zildjian sticks sa salonga cubao...
tapos di ko napansin na may ztime na pala sila...
merong isang mama na nagsabi sa isang crew ng salonga kung pwede xa makakuha ng ztime mag kasi nakadisplay lang ung mdaming stocks ng ztime mag without buying a single zildjian product... tapos un,,, sabi nung crew,,, "sige sir kuha lang kayo..."
syempre, papatalo ba ako??? hehehe...
kumuha din ako...
the point is...
depende rin cguro sa store kung mamimigay sila or not kahit wala kang binibiling zildjian product...
kaya punta na kayo ng salonga...
hehehe...
kuha na kayo dun!!!

bumili lang ako ng remo amb skin sa may jb parksquare..yun..tpos nagtanong ako kung meron silang zildjian stickers..yung tinuro naman ay yung Z mag..kya yun..kuha ako ng 3..wala naman silang naging reklamo..ambabait pa nga..tinnono pa ung snare ko ng walang bayad.. :-D ung nakasalamin na mejo mahaba ung bohuk nya..forgot his name ee..

mababait talaga mga salesman sa jb sm fairview...naalala ko 3 yrs ago..sale sila nun balak ko bumili ng double pedals nun generic lang talaga balak ko nun tapos nag inquire lang ako sabi nung isang sales man mag gibraltar avenger DB6611 nalang ako ibibigay nila ng 6k..hehe from 10k nun naging 6k laki ng discount.. medyo OT na..hehe pero depende sa store siguro un sa sm north talaga di approachable mga salesman dun..masusungit pa..baba pa mag bigay ng discount..
