RCF and L-Acoustics feedback-free speakers
« on: December 30, 2010, 03:26:01 AM »
RCF and L-Acoustics recently released co-axial speakers which they claim are resistant to (RCF:"complete absence of") feedback. any comments / enlightenment re: the absence of feedback from the experts here? i know for sure they're expensive, but just for curiosity, magkano po kaya, Sir Mario? will other (not to expensive) co-axial speakers (like the Beta 3 R-series) exhibit, albeit to a certain degree, the same feedback resistance? will it exhibit the same feedback resistance as FOH (PA) speakers as mons? are there downsides to co-axials versus regular 2-way speakers? sorry for the many questions, but feedback resistance is a big issue, i believe. pricey or not, i would want to have those! (GAS, my trespass  :-D) TIA po

we can get into the technical side of it and you will still not appreciate it unless you hear it.  you have to hear it to realize where it is as compared to what you presently have.

the 12" model of these will be arriving in late January, make sure to have a listen.

the sound will be "īn your face" and that weighs a lot when it comes to floor monitors.
