msa sir maganda b kpag 6 lugs lng ang snare???

para sa aking mas gusto ko yung 10 lugs, para mas pantay yung banat ng skin sa snare. IMHO lang.. :-)

depende sa size ng snare, kung 10" ang diameter ng snare mo just like yung Mike Mangini Sig Snare, tama lang na 6 lang yung lugs, pero kung 14" yung diamater ng snare mo, it would be better off having 10 lugs...

nice basis for snare head selection...(coated ambassador, powerstroke 3, coated controlled sound head). The selection pretty much represents the drum heads with the same specs from other manufacturers

masyado rin makapal yung 2 ply, di makakakanta yung drums mo.

Hello sirs,

what are your thoughts on using tape to muffle the overtones?

Ito, kahit walang I love you pare: :-D

Pearl 6.5" x 14" Steel:
TOP - Remo Coated Ambassador, BOTTOM - Remo Clear snare side

Tama ang buzz and litaw pa rin ang lutong ng overtones ng steel snare. Suggestion: tonohin mo ng tight. magchochoke yung head mag-isa. Hindi mo na kailangan ng muffling. Basta keep the snare wires medium tight lang, and not too tight, para litaw rin yung body ng snare mo.

Yan e unless naka piccolo ka. hehehe.

para sa steel sheel, kung gusto mo makuha yung overtones and crack, you can't go wrong with coated ambassdor top. pwede rin yung aquarian texture coated (na walang power dot).

kung gusto mo mas "beefy" or fat ang tunog go for double ply's like remo emperor x's or yung texture coated na may power dot.

yung sa snare side head naman go for evans dry or remo hazy ambassadors. para litaw pa rin yung articulation sa snare at mga multong nota.

Try mo coated emperor batter, ambassador reso

The thick batter head will make your brass drum sound fat and warm. Parang wood snare na me metallic ring

Ayos din ambassador both batter and reso. High pitched na ringy

Just ordered Remo Emperor Clear 12", 14" and 16" for my toms and Remo Emperor Smooth White 14" for my snare kay sir Vinci or drumshop...

Is this a good choice of set of heads?
