Do you give a rat's a$$ about inlays?!?

Do Les Paul guitars (Gibson/Epi) look "off" to you kapag hindi trapezoid or block yung inlay? Same with PRS kung hindi mga birds inlay or Ibanez Jems kung hindi tree of life inlay? Or kahit walang inlay yung gitara ok lang sa inyo?

Yup same here haha. Ganda nung tunog nila though especially yung mga vintage models na Gibson LP Juniors and Specials. Yun lang...no binding and dot inlays.  :lol:

dot inlays on les paul looks fake. block inlays on a tele or jazzmaster looks cool.  :lol:

There's always that impression with the early guitars holding the "correct look" because they were the first and were considered as standard for what we currently have today.

I do find it off when I see inlays that are different with the originals, but it's also fun seeing people extending their ideas and breaking boundaries to come up with a variation from the standard.

Sweet grained strat + Tree of Life. sobrang eye candy!
kung sa looks.. ok ang block inlays. kaso medyo na aasiwa ako pag na tatanaw ko yung malalaking inlays while playing.
