planning to retire my 3 year old boston EQ 200. Choices are below.

MXR 6 band EQ vs Danelectro fish and chips vs Boss GE-7 vs DOD fx40B

Playing style: More on ambient, spacey sounds. Not a shredder. More on short hooks.

okay sana si MXR, wala lang overall gain slider.

boss GE7 is noisy paps. better pa yang boston mo kesa sa boss.

imho, drop the EQ, get another od or booster instead hahahaha!

Hahaha salamat paps! Pero ung mga quotes mo pampagas e. Tingnan mo so maghahanap pa ako ng booster? Haha. De joke lang. Siguro nga okay na ung soulfood+sbp+shredhead. Amp sim na lang for bad sounding amps sa gig.

Samplers. Auto samplers. Parang DJ, hahaha paparinig ko sayo next time. Dub kasi madalas ko sya gmitin sa dub reggae na banda ung sinasabi ko sayo na rap lyrics. Hahaha ang labo ko no?

Nagpplano akong bumili ng first telecaster ko at dalawa lang ang choices ko:

Squire Classic Vibe Tele or Micsis Tele

Alin sa dalawa ang mas ok? Sound, playability, attention to detail, resale value?

Micsis strat palang ang nasubukan ko hindi pa nakasaksak sa amp. Di pako nakakarinig ng Micsis tele in person. Nung first time ko naman makarinig ng Squire cv tele, jam event yun, nagulat ako sa sarap ng tunog! Dinaig pa(to my ears) yung mexico at us na nandun. Dami din magagandang reviews. Ang issue ko lang sa cv ay yung thin neck profile kasi mas prefer ko makapal.

None of the two choices.
If i were to decide...i would save a little more and buy a used japanese tele.

This! Either tokai or fender sounds good. Japan made guitars are really good and Im one of those satisfied.

HELP ME DECIDE PLEASE!

Guitar 1:

Squier affinity telecaster butterscoth blonde, upgraded to Dimarzio twang king and chopper T.
Price @ around 15k plus.

Guitar 2:

Fender Stratocaster 57 reissue MIJ, upgraded pups to Fender vintage noiseless pickups.
Price @ around 28k plus.


Thinking of getting the squier so i can save some money and use it for something else, because i only play at my room and it has a very nice pups naman.

For the fender, its a very nice guitar siguru kase i havent played a Good quality guitar so i dont have a clue what it sound like, besides from those yuotube videos..


I havent tried single coil guitars more of a humbucker guitarist.

Help me decide please asap.

Depends on your needs because they are two very different pedals.

+1. the MS50G is like a swiss army knife. it will cover a lot of needs, but only up to a certain level.

the TS9 however, is like a jungle bolo, it's functions maybe limited to being a dirt pedal, but damn, the significance of its effect/capability is definitely top notch.

if you have tube amp and you needs OD --> TS9
if you have solid state amp and you  need OD --> MS-50g

TS9 sucks if used on a solid state amp but shines and sings very well in a tube amp.
With MS50g, you have other tonal options to adjust with the solid state amp voicing.
