mapapayo ko Lang ha..

based sa experience ko nito Lang Last 2 weeks:

frustrated taLaga ako dahiL pinag-aaraLan ko ang bLast-beat.
now probLema ko yung Left hand ko kasi hindi ganun kabiLis ng right hand ko.

ang ginawa ko, naghanap ako ng mas mabigat na stick at nag-practice ng 4-5 hours a day para Lang matutunan ko ang bLast beat na yan, hindi ko inisip na waLang patutunguhan ang ginawa ko nung tima na yun, basta ang nasa isip ko Lang is determinado akong matutunan yun..

so kung frustrated kayo sa drumming nyo, wag kayong mag-aLaLa dahiL Lahat ng probLema nasosoLusyonan, tsaka it takes time and a LOT OF PRACTICE taLaga para umasenso tayo..

kaya wag kayong frustrated mga kapatid, dagdag sakit ng uLo Lang yang frustration nyo, marami na ngang probLema sa bansa natin ngayon ida-dagdag nyo pa yang frustration nyo.. hehehe

at ano namang mapapaLa mo kong titigiL ka sa pagda-drums?? meron ba??

guess what? 2 months ago tinanggal ako sa banda, then just 2 weeks ago may nagrecruit saken, i never thought i could cover songs from cheese kasi nakakahilo yung mga palo ni paolo chaka ni robert, but shortly after 1 week of zipra, 80% yung 1st jam namin nitong bago kong banda

you know sometimes it's the old idealogies of your band that slows you all down in terms of growth, sometimes isa lang ang gumagaling dahil dun nagmamarunong pa, hindi matatalo ng galing ang pagmamahal sa music

ang lakas ko pumalo. that's what everyone says...

...and i may not be technically proficient enough, not ever having had a drum set at home, nor having had any professional lessons...

but otherwise, i love playing the drums!!!

ang mga frustration ko as a drummer is yung left feet ko mas mabagal sa kanan even though six months nakong nagdodobol peds. hay... saka yung ginawa ni virgil donati na practice paradiddles na yung left hand at foot nya nag dodouble paradiddles tapos yung right hand at foot nya nagsisingle paradiddle all at the same time. hay. sana hindi kona nakita yung video na yun. badtrip. hehe hindi ako makatulog hangga't diko nagagawa. whew... pero soon... hehe

isa pa yun. di ko makuha-kuha ang double peds...tried it once when i had a brief stint with an earth crisis/strife-influenced band, tumagal lang ako ng dalawang practice before quitting...

kaya kahit na trip ko yung tugtugan di ako pwedeng pumalo sa mga metal/hardcore bands...

ako complain ko sa sarili ko...

pag stressed ako hindi ko masyadong makabisado yun mga tutugtugin.. dati problema ko pag tugtong ko sa stage sobrang kinakabahan ako ngayon hindi na masyado.. iniisip ko na last gig na yun at dapat galingan yun performance

problema ko talaga yung bass pedal speed ko. sobrang walang improvement talaga. hindi ko na maintindihan...

try na being cool kalang, kahit ako nkakaranas din niyan ngayon. parang umay na ako sa tunog ng drums ko at sa beats ko. So nung nagtry ako ng progressive jazz, hirap ako. pero just practice lang at sure gagaling ka with faith in God din.

Frustrated drummer ako. I love it so much but I faced several instances to choose other things than playing drums.

1. Took lessons when I was HS but that's one summer only. Back to books during schooltime

2. Tried to join a few bands in College but I cannot go full time since my parents wants me to concentrate on studies

3. Planned on enrolling at UP school of music after College but I have to work

4. When I had my own money, I decided to take MBA instead of more drum lessons

5. After MBA I have more responsibilities at work and I got married.

ako right handed pero dati probLema ko taLaga Left hand ko....

ginawa ko, practice more sa Left hand ko, LaLo na doubLe stroke at tripLe stroke roll....
