I hear a lot of kids nowadays bitching that they are pure rockers and stuff like that, pero hindi kilala mga legendary rock gods ng pinas. mas kilala pa nila yung mga rock legends from abroad kahit hindi pa nila nadidinig yung mga tugtugan nila. I admit, never ko pang nadinig si steve vai, yngwie malmsteen, atbpng mga malulupet gaw gumitara. But one listen to Juan Dela Cruz or either one of those people (Pepe, Mike Hanopol and Wally Gonzalez) playing their piece is like there's nothing else to compare. Di ba? Tama ba sinabi ko?

nakasabay ko si Pepe Smith sa elevator sa ofc namin a couple of months ago. He was wearing his usual garb(tight jeans, leather jacket), and was tinkering with his cell(but i think he was listening to some music).  Cool na cool.

Ang nakakatawa lang eh sa sobrang pagkalikot nya at pakikinig nya sa cellphone nya eh muntik syang lumapas dun sa floor na bababaan nya. "Ay anung floor na ba, muntik na ko lumampas" was what he said (or at least somthing like that)

Natawa tuloy yung nag o operate ng elevator. Ako rin napa smile at binati ko sya ng "Idol!" Syempre ang kanyang reply: "Rock en Roll!"
