General Information: Battle City started as a semi-acoustic duo in 2005 by Angelo Estrella and Jason Barleta. The early songs were stripped down, troubadour pop songs intended for drinking sessions. Noticing that the songs were taking the life of its own, the two decided to make it an official band. They were quickly joined by Al Barleta and Jake Lapuz. Their patchwork sounds interweave tuneful pop sensibilities to haunting compositions that have a penchant for moody atmosphere.

W.A.N.T.W.A.R. is an acronym meaning "We Are Not Trashers We Are Rockers" and formed August 28, 2004, played alternative rock and punk rock songs before, now we play rock/punk rock music and make compositions. Hoping someday people would appreciate our music.. we are not professionals but we make good songs!

Gatecrash with Nadia has existed since the band name’s inception in mid-August of 2007, but the current roster of members had stabilized only in February the following year. The band’s upward trajectory has begun since then. The official lineup is composed of Aleah Alam on vocals, Benjun Borbon and Paolo Cabonce on guitars, Patrick Ocampo on bass and Moki Cruz on drums.
Gatecrash with Nadia’s musical thesis mainly features rock and emo-driven chord progressions, blues-y guitar riffs, heart-pounding stops and soulful, melodic vocals. The band also puts great effort in writing its own lyrics, which could be aptly described as story-telling and poetry combined. But a live Gatecrash with Nadia set is not complete without collective showmanship from its members, who feed off energy from each other and from the audience they play for. Embracing Gunfire The music that Embracing Gunfire produces serves as a thin line between the sound of creativity and the harmony of camaraderie. A few years back, lead vocalist Seth Estacio and lead guitarist Francis Balderama met halfway to do acoustic sets in local bars, hoping that they would be noticed by the people whom they wrote the songs for. Along the course of their musical march, the two decided to add an additional guitarist (Martin Gacrama) to further expand their diversity and arrangements. The band was known as Pepper Mouth back then, and manifests songs about celebrating humane emotions every now and then. After a little while, the band agreed on getting a drummer, currently being held by Dan Torres, making them a fullset band. Martin left, and they tapped Peter Carillo to play bass for them. They changed the band name to Selling Side Mirrors from then on. The band got active, played as much gigs a possible, got television guestings, and got involved in big events such as Fete dela Musique, until the band decided to split their ways due to other priorities. Seth Estacio pursued a career in another band Plane Divides the Sky, Francis Balderama focused on his studies, Dan Torres played drums for Danita and Rachelle Ann Go, and Peter Carillo went to the US to learn hiphop culture. Until Paolo Ruiz, currently plays Bass for the band, got acquainted with Seth. They learned about their common denominator with their musicality and the possibility of reviving the lost, but not dead, band. A couple of weeks after, the two decided to give it another shot. They tapped some old members, Francis and Dan, and agreed upon one thing to keep their musicality alive, and to not let go of it anymore. Ever since, nothing can stop Embracing Gunfire from writing their own tunes and conveying them to the people who are ready to lend an ear. The band, currently comprised of Seth Estacio, Francis Balderama, Dan Torres and Paolo Ruiz, have their guns pointed towards a common goal to penetrate the world of music, only with the strong belief in their tunes as their armor. About Us: The band is playing for almost 10 years now with old members in public, invites etc. Due to some conflicts and life challenges, the road to music has been paused and frontman Benj decided to stop for a while. Just this summer, Benj invited the newest member Egel to try their music, if he will be interested playing their type of music as Egel has been playing with his other band for almost 3 years. Egel tried playing with Benj with the taste of their music. After a few sessions with the band, egel decided to be part of 99%, and now he's in. What happens when a group of simple, determined and dedicated musicians are left with decade-old notebooks filled with yet-to-be recorded songs? They form a band, record the songs raw and name their collection after the notebook that inspired the move.
Frontman and founding member Owen Formento named his band Cuaderno Diyes after his grade-school notebook that held most of his songs which he shared with drummer Drew Smith whom he met thru his friend Datch Smith incidentally one of the Soupstar Road Managers of the hugely popular band 6cyclemind & Sandwich.
“I met Drew in October 2007 in a gig in Metrowalk Ortigas which I helped organized. We were just talking and I told him about this project band that has been playing at the back of mind for a long time. Two weeks later, we met again in another bar and that’s when I asked him if he would be interested in joining the band and he said “Why not? , let’s go find ourselves a bassist.”
A few weeks later the band was jamming at Pinoy Penguin Band Studio in Kamias Quezon City owned by another friend Randy Maghari of the band Mismo. Owen got one of PUP underground’s known bassist Lester Neil to join the jam and soon enough Cuaderno Diyes found themselves recording demos and playing live gigs at famous indie circuits such as Magnet Café, Mayrics and Freedom Bar.
Their songs “Nabalewala” and “Song 14” easily won audiences with their sheer catchiness and earnest, easy-to-absorb lyrics. There is instant recognition even if you’ve never heard the songs before because mostly they are about common experiences, particularly those that deal with relationships and heartbreak.
Having played music both professionally and informally for more than a decade, with influences ranging from great foreign bands like Green Day, Foo Fighters, Stone Temple Pilot, to local heavyweights Rivermaya , Eraserheads, Sugarfree and Urbandub, Both Formento and Smith agree that their songs are meant for everyone.
“Lahat pwede maka-relate, babae or lalaki or any kind of gender, for instance “Nabalewala” is a song about your firsts - first love, first kiss, first heartbreak, we all go through that”, says Formento who is the band’s chief songwriter. Another ‘cuaderno diyes’-worthy song is “Song 14” which is basically an ode to valentines, here the band admits to keeping the arrangement basic and just letting a simple song capture the feeling of being in-love. For Drew Smith, playing with a group like Cuaderno Diyes is the best way to share his musical ideas. “It’s always great to play songs which a lot of people relate to, or appreciate. Satisfaction comes from seeing people enjoy and appreciate the music.”
Since they started playing together over a year, Cuaderno Diyes have been taking their brand of catchy pop rock in small and big venues alike, from bars like Magnet café, Mayrics, Club Dredd & 6UG to big festivals like Oktoberfest, UP Peacetahan and other school tours.
In between gigs, Cuaderno Diyes is getting ready to release their debut album this year. Whether through a major label or independently, that has yet to be confirmed, but one thing’s for sure the band is definitely determined to make radio-friendly ears listen.
STOLENSHOTS, the SKA band that comes from the small town of Legazpi City, province of Albay. The band was originally formed by one of the members of the band, Payirl, who at that time wanted to set a band just to join the band fest. But because the members of the band had one thing in common, being a music lover and inspired by the music of the renown SKA bands, they decided to continue what they had started, from that the name stolenshots was established.

Same that year they were also featured on another Bicolano cd compilation album, the RIBOK album, were their original song “All the while (I thought)” was the carrier single of the said compilation album.
The band dreams to build a SKA seal and scene not only on their hometown, but as well as throughout Bicol Region, and express the SKA beat on their own stolenshots way, who knows??....One day…, one day, who will know...? Someday…someday, we suppose………

TEMPEST is a five piece metal band from UPlB with Epi Epilar (vocals), Jeff Octaviano (guitars), Karl Castillo (guitars), Ralph Morales (bass) and Miggy Ramos (drums).
Since its formation in 2005, Tempest has released a 5 track EP entitled "Stop The KiIlling". The band has been fortunate enough to share the stage with amazing local bands and regularly open for Tower Doom Artists such as COG, Sin, Valley of Chrome, April Morning Skies, Imbue no Kudos etc. In August of 2009, the band was lucky enough to be featured in PULP magazine.
Tempest will soon hit the studios of Tower of Doom to record their first full-length album.

Originated in Cabuyao Laguna, Philippines. Lateral Ties are composed of 4 members. Which came from different variety of rock music.
Dect, the vocalist and the man on rhythm guitar. Hard Rocking since his highschool life. And inspired singing by Metallica frontman, James Hetfield, Scott Stapp of Creed and our local music living legend Ely Buendia of Pupil (ex E-heads member).
Chito, the man behind the ad lib. Also starting playing his guitar since highschool. Inspired playing by Yngwie Malmsteen and many more hard rocking guitar hero.
Toper, drummer of the band. A long time band-mate and high school buddy of Dect. Inspired by Lars Ulrich of Metallica, Travis of Blink 182, Mike Portnoy of Dreamtheater and Nick Carter (huh???? lol).
And the person who will handling bass guitar is Kevin Sibulo. A friend, classmate and old band member of Toper and Dect. He has same caliber when in comes to Metal and Rock Music as Dect, Chito and Toper has.
The members are commonly influenced by 80's and 90's music. They say those era is where the true music live but they still exploring what new metal music can give to them. So, expect that this band will sound like old but new to next generation metal heads.

A high energy five piece rock band. Their sound is recognizable with intensely catchy melodic heavy grooves, smooth vocals, driving rock bass and drums and the odd instrumental solo thrown into the mix. Coming together in November of 2009 the members of Duelmo made a promise to uplift OPM using their varied musical influences and skills. Their name is a combination of what they first had in mind which was “DU-ON” (Double-Up Or Nothing) and Ern’s dog “ELMO” who always watched their rehearsals, thus the name DUELMO.
Their musical influences are The Beatles, 311, Eraserheads, Led Zeppelin and Incubus just to name a few. Their gig jaunt has included numerous performances at different bars in the Metro and some corporate events. They have been honing their sound and song-writing as well as recording their music in the compilation of their first EP.
Part of the growth of the band relies on their mutual respect and understanding of each other’s musicality as every member takes an active role in the song writing process. Most of their songs were penned by Jonas who can effortlessly convey his thoughts and feelings through his pen and guitar. Our band's name is Autoplay hence the Philmusic username. The band's original music is inspired mostly by New Wave, Post-punk and Shoegaze artists. Genre naming is subjective, we can leave that to anybody who would listen to our songs.

our band's name is: Paperview
we are a girl-fronted band based in davao city, and we play a mix of things. some songs your parents would love, some of them will get you kicked out of the house. lyric-content wise, we are PG13.
here are some interesting things we've heard from the audience:
"she sings pop, he plays jazz, that guy has some bluesy thing going on, and then there's that rock guy! ... it does not make sense, but when i listen to you guys, it is somehow music!
"i have never heard a band as raw as you guys since the early 2000's!"
"you guys are too loud!"
