Sorry, i don't have time to back read.. Anong brand po ng earphones with mic ang pwede sa desktop? Sabi kasi pang-music lang daw yung earphones pag sa desktop ginamit. Ano gamit nyo pang-video call aside from headsets/headphones?

Thanks!

I saw one Razer brand in ear headphones that has a mic adapter, Hammerhead ata yung model.

10hz? yes they do exists. just check out frequency response charts of any model you can think of.

kaso, meron bang music na umaabot ng 10hz? orchestral/classical probably, maybe. pero modern music? low B string sa 5 string bass is 31hz

baka electronic sir, pwede magproduce ng 10Hz kung uutusan ang synth/computer. but still, while there are cans that can reproduce 10Hz, I doubt we could hear it.

"The commonly stated range of human hearing is 20 Hz to 20 kHz.[4][5][note 1] Under ideal laboratory conditions, humans can hear sound as low as 12 Hz."

We could feel 10Hz though, I think, pero hindi na cans yun, loudspeakers na ang usapan  :-(

perceiving is different from hearing, sub sonic frequency can still affect your senses and your brain can still make something out from it.

locally made custom in ears anyone?

here's mine made by flipears with triple drivers - https://www.facebook.com/FlipEars

i wont post prices, it might change once word comes out and they get famous. just check out their facebook account.

originally i wanted a better sounding shure se535 because i loved the mids but it really lacks low end presence. i was so glad that aries (owner/builder) was receptive to the idea of copying the frequency response of my se535 and tuning my new customs to my liking. talagang custom :D

did i get what i wanted? yes and no. i got something different, not bad just different. the clarity, imaging and space on the flipears are much much much better than the  se535. instrument separation is very good. i can hear out of tune guitars or backup vocals better. i did not get the forward mids that i was looking for though and i think i'll attribute this to the difference in drivers used by shure and flipears. i did have tons of bass. the sound is warm, there are no fatiguing or piercing frequencies. vocals are a bit behind than what im used to but it sounds familiar because i used a bose ie2 for a really long time (because ie2s are the most comfortable for daily use)

best isolation in all in-ears/headphones i've owned - this made playing drums more enjoyable. i can hear what my body is playing but like my head was in another room. its so easy to spot mistakes. by the way, i also use this a lot in the office lately because it helps me focus better. it really kills all sound from noisy officemates.

how long? the order took 2 weeks but times will vary. i got really lucky.

are they worth the price? compared against going with unique melody/1964 ears/other foreign manufacturers - flipears ARE CHEAP. well not cheap that everyone can afford them but they offer the cheapest price for a ciem. construction is still not at the level where it can compete with unique melody or ultimate ears but they will improve in time. the sound is subjective and if you ask me if they sound as expensive as they should be, they do. its like a really warm senn hd600 and we all know how much a hd600 costs. flipears are a steal.

triple. i also edited my original post

I think I'll get the single ones, maybe a double, just because I think I'll be prioritizing the isolation/live monitoring aspect more than the actual sound quality. Something I could use for drumming that's not a really hot, bulky earmuff

best for drumming. looking back, sapat na single for drumming. ang taas kasi masyado ng isolation, hindi mauubusan ng headroom kahit single driver

Headphones for loud environment and some more questions
« Reply #1520 on: June 26, 2015, 02:51:26 PM »
Any recommended headphones for loud environment?

Directly above my work desk is a loud aircon.. and I would like to work in quite place. Fortunately, standard issue here is laptops, so I can move out for now.. But eventually I have to adapt to my environment.

At the same time I would like to listen to music. Using it for practicing (electric guitar) would be very nice.

Can closed headphones do the job? Or one shouldn't bother?

How about those headphones used by Starcraft 2 tournament players? They have earbuds and a headphone at the same time (which I believe cancel any ouside noise).

How about playing in a band, does musicians protect their ears by using headphones?

What's the difference between practicing with a proper Amp and headphones?

Why does Paul Gilbert wear headphones?

Also, where to buy and how much?

Thanks in advance for answering my inquiries!  :)

I can only answer the paul Gilbert question

He is deaf on one side and ''about to'' go deaf on the other, he can't hear certain sonic frequencies like ''we do'' so he's doing everything to salvage what's left in his hearing.

With the aircon issue, a good in-ear headphones with good isolation earplugs would do, you just have to find your own size para talagang swak sa tenga mo. or you can chooose an on-ear or Over-ear type headphones which is also an option for you, ikaw na bahala, this is jsut for the isolation of sound, the sound output will vary to your taste of course.

about the WCG players, i think it's a combo headphones (phones + mic) and are really high quality and also they are isolated to a soundproof chamber while competetion is ongoing.

Protection used by musicians were mainly ear-plugs, this just doesn't eliminate noise but also eliminates the damaging frequencies to go through your ears.

well the speaker has higher headroom and has a unique output due to it's components that it's made compared to the headphones for practice. well it has it's own purpose but mainly using the headphones for practicing does the job w/o the neighbors complaining, while the other gets you the real deal when it comes to tone searching.

You can find them almost anywhere and to almost to the major brands we have you can choose, from good to great. whatever suits your taste, IMO don't use headphones that has BASS BOOST, well as i can see it's just for consumers who just want to feel the song and doesn't want to have the overall quality on how it was made up.

just my 2 cents though, hope this helps
