nakakatulong ba talaga ang chemo or nakakalala?

Depende sa kung ano ang may cancer sayo, sa kalagayan ng katawan mo at higit sa lahat, sa dami ng pera mo.

Yung kaopisina ko dati nakitaan ng mga bukol sa breast. Was so happy when she decided to quit the job to focus on her treatment. Mga 8 buwan lang wala na sya. Nung nalaman namin, she was offerred 3 choices.

1. Operation to remove the cysts and undergo chemo afterwards.

2. Go straight to chemo and hope that the cysts would get smaller.

3. Try alternative medicine.

She took the risk and went for the 3rd option. Nung malala na sya, she rushed to the hospital. Wala na daw remedy.

yung kaibigan ng nanay ko asawa nya lalake namatay sa cancer lumabas lahat ng complikasyon nakita nung una na  me bukol sa bumbunan tapos nabalitaan ko nag dialysis nag chemo wala namatay ginastos nila lahat 4 million pero me kaya sila.

To answer whether chemo can help or do damage will really depend upon an individual,like what Marzi said, your body's present state;kung hindi pa full blown yung CA and the body can still battle and weather out the adverse effects of chemo you may have a fighting chance against CA,but still that chances are there that it will get worse. My wife's brother in law spent a wallop of cash on alternative medicine after being diagnosed stage 4 lung CA bumagsak nang husto yung resistensya bago nakumbinse na mag pa chemo and stem cell treatment,sa huli bumigay lang.

 May nabasa ako about alternative medicine, specifically about following a strict all natural, low sugar diet. Sure, it makes non-scientific sense, but I think if you're already chin deep in crap (diagnosed in later stage cancer) you really have to go through chemotherapy and other western Meds and treatments if you wanna take your chances with your money.  The alternative medicine, as long as it's compatible with your treatment should be supplementary at best.

And then there are some people who just don't take treatments at all, or go through cheaper alternatives like diets and weed or alcohol because they know their chance is slim and money would be wasted just to extend life for a few months

Kung Stage 4 na at nag metastasize sa ibang parts medyo wala ng pag asa. yung kapit bahay namin nag alternative meds wala namatay din. sabi nung doctor na kilala ko hindi naman daw talaga effective ang alternative meds. Chemo lang daw is the only way to go and mas mataas ang probabilty ng pag patay sa cancer cells lalo na kung early stage pa lang. medyo maypaka suntok sa buwan daw ang alternative meds. or minsan daw dala nalang ng paniniwala. He would not recommend alternative meds sa kahit anong patient. nasa kanila nalang daw yun kung anong route ang gusto nila.

yung family ng wife ko tatlo sa side nila ngayon ang may cancer

yung tito niya may prostate cancer pero early stage lang. tinanggal daw yung prostate or yung balls mismo not sure

tapos yung isa same din prostate a bit aggresive yung sa kanya pero lumipat na sa buto eh. Not really taking meds parang naka isang operation lang din tapos ayun okay naman siya. sabi niya kung mamamatay siya mamamatay siya. matanda na naman daw siya eh. pero mahal maintenance niya


Yung isa ang mas malala stage 4 colo rectal cancer. nasa US ngayon na operahan na siya pero kasalukuyan siyang nag cchemo nakita ko yung pics medyo ang laki na ng pinayat.



well depende kung saang stage na. if nasa 4 na for example si jam sebastian Stage 4 kaagad na lung cancer. kahit dami nila pera ayun na deads.

may kilala din ako na stage 2 cancer patient, nagpachemo din sya and laki ng pinayat. pero etong huli umayaw na sya magpachemo dahil hindi nya na daw kaya. mas mamamatay daw sya kung itutuloy nya yung chemo. sabi nya na lang "kung oras mo na, oras mo na". umaasa na lang din sya sa herbal herbal at panalangin

yeah man I mean yan din ang usual na naririnig ko sa cancer patients eh lalo na yung nag progress na. Chances of surviving are very slim. nakaka takot at nakaka praning magkasakit. yung tito ng misis ko hirap na hirap na din daw eh. ang laki din ng gastos nila
