Title: [Question] what's that sound
Post by: kaloyster on March 18, 2006, 11:10:09 AM
AC/DC's Angus Young? what effects is he using? really like that "in-your-face", "not-so-heavy" vintage rock sound.

it's hard to emulate that tone with a Strat, but you can get pretty close if it has a humbucker in the bridge (use switch position 4 if you have single coils only) and if you have a good amp simulator.

try the marshall shred master. it's like cramming a marshall amp into a small box. it's not the real thing, but it's the closest you'll get.
