peaks paps. ibig sabihin may part na sobrang lakas nung track mo. pag hindi mo ito inayos, eto yung nagtutunog basag sa mga speakers.

Tama si ralph. Eto yung tinatawag nilang "clipping" kadalasan yung track na nagki-clip eh distorted or panget tunog when rendered, sapaw din sa ibang tracks.

^ adding to Ralph and Cel, remedyo is bawasan mo yung Gain knob just a bit na hindi na nagbiblink si red light. Play normally as you would then timplahin mo lang Gain. Dapat di siya umiilaw ng red all throughout your recorded track.

Volume faders talaga ang solution, never record with a clipping track! Mas maganda mag record ng mahina kesa nagclip. Kase wala ka na enough headroom for mixing kapag clipping ang tracks.

ako i set all my faders to 0 tapos isa isa ko sila iaangat ng konti hanggang sa maging ok na ang tunog sakin without clipping. Kadalasan gusto ko nag peak lang yung "master" sa -6db.

Yep, meron. I put compressor plugin sa bass track. Tight settings ginagamit ko dun para mas punchy.

Naglalagay rin ako sa master track gamit yun preset na premastering as limiter para may enough headroom for boosting the volume for the final mix.

- Sa desktop PC, naka i5 CPU ako with 8gb RAM
- Reaper gamit ko as DAW
- Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 as interface
- gumamit ako ng Lepou amp sims. Legion tsaka triple rec gamit ko dyan para sa rhythm guitars. Soft amp (fender amp sim) naman para sa lead guitars. Tapos impulse cab sim naman para sa cabs.
- gumamit rin ako ng TS9 plugin para lumabas yun grit ng guitars
- Addictive Drums 2 for the drum midi program output
- BassGrinder for the bass amp and cab
- a bunch of compressor, delay, and reverb plugins

Additional question lang. Yung drums nito sir hindi actual drums? Kumbaga parang pre-programmed or sa keyboard lang ginawa? Or electronic drums or drum loops siya? Plano ko din sana mag ganito.

Meron kasi akong Peavey Vypyr ViP2. Pwede ko siya rekta sa computer via USB. Balak ko dun na padaanin lahat ng instrument including electric drums. Tingin niyo sir kailangan ko pa ng USB audio interface?

Midi programmed drum track tapos ang output ay via Addictive Drums 2. These are actual drum sounds prerecorded within AD2 which are then triggered by the midi which I programmed semi-manually. It works by having a certain midi note trigger a certain drum sound like for example, a drum kick. The good thing with AD2, the software has all the sound tweaking you need like from compressors, EQ to reverbs. It also has beat sample tapos pwede mo i-edit to taste. Try watching some Youtube demos to give you more idea.

Sorry pero I'm not familiar with Vypyr amps. I guess if you can connect it to the PC via USB, I suggest you use cab sim impulse to add some flavor to what you originally record.
