Comment lang ako based on clips and trailer of this DVD release. I saw him live during the first album tour. Medyo similar pa din sa "live" concerts ni JM. Talagang blues guitarist at heart sya, he takes a lot of liberties and risks with the impromptu (na medyo scripted) portions ng concerts nya. Pero pagdating na ng mga kanta, respetado nya yung kanta - alam nyang ibalanse yung "musician" needs nya atsaka yung need ng crowd for singalong/anthem numbers.

Room For Squares. 2003 yun, sikat na sya. Opening act was Maroon 5, hindi pa sikat ang Maroon 5 noon.

Yeah...saw him on that tour too, except they had Counting Crows as well co-headlining with John.  Second time ko siyang nakita with that show.  First time was with Guster opening at a mid-sized venue in 2002.

Got the new release in Target where the DVD was bundled with the double CD.  Special release lang ata yun for Target only.  I'll check out the DVD part soon.

Yup the CD is a good buy here at around P350.
John Mayer is always good value for money - I just don't care to read about his sexual exploits with starlets but he's a damn fine guitar player.

I'm actually entertained when John puts on a show for the paparazzi at TMZ or the E! Channel.  He at one time decided to share with the rest of the world a conversation he was having over the phone that he's been having a nasty jock itch and was looking for a remedy.  The chismis channels actually took all of that info seriously and picked it apart like it was news.  Man, these guys should read up on what "taking the piss" is all about.
