Title: Where to put acoustic strap?
Post by: cleancrunch nix on January 12, 2009, 08:02:19 AM
When I bought an acoustic guitar I asked if the shop had a screw to attach the strap at the part where the body and neck meet. The shopkeeper said that was not recommended, and the best and safest way to strap an acoustic would be to sling the strap around the headstock, between the tuners and the nut. I've seen folk players do this, do you recommend it?

tie the strap to the neck if a strap button isn't available on the model of your acoustic guitar
