Two light setup to bro. Pero I made use of the sun and one 32" silver reflector low camera left. Reflector was handheld by an assitant.

PS: Just want to confrm my monitor calibration, is the image underexposed and a little over saturated on your display?

on my taste i like this exposure you made, i found the image a "little bit" of  underexposed but, its "creatively underexposed" so i have no worries on that, your filter might have help you alot, the overall saturation is great too, the vignetting is doing fine on the image and corners. what annoys me is your name on the middle, can you put that on corners? this picture i believe, is outstanding! Share us more!  i have a bit question, if you hand held your camera? thanks!

Yep handheld. This was shot at max sync of my D40 at 1/500th. It's really underexposed on my monitor after I've calibrated it. Blame it on inaccurate factory monitor calibration! hahaha!

is it hard to do portraits? i believe this is very challenging capturing someones inner mind freezing one perfect moment in time,  
how much time does it takes you to do this in actual scene and in post processing? i like the saturation of your tones treated here TFS!

Depende sa model kung pahihirapan ka sir, may model kasi na kahit anong ipagawa mo hindi makuha ang angle, smile, hand position, head tilt , body curve etc etc........ pero pag yung model pro, hindi mo na kailangan utusan.
Sa ilaw naman, depende din kung ano location, may mga shots akong portraits na may hair light pero minsan ayaw ko naman ng hairlight.  Gulo ko noh? hahaha!
Sa processing naman ng pics, Konti lang ang ginagalaw ko, saturation, curves & crop with a little bit of sharpening lang kasi sharp na naman yung mga lens ko kasi calibrated naman yung mga lens ko sa camera body ko.

This is a fantastic shot, this one shows a lot of curves in the picture definitely outstanding on a plain background! nice treatment dito, beauty ung model he he, im sure its really hard to shoot a model ng naka panty at bra lang!   TFS

lordofPRS, no offense about the photos of street children, but photos showing poverty, war, political conflict, social affliction and other images involving documentation of the human drama ALWAYS requires text/description. it does not have to be long. otherwise it's meaningless. thus, the term "photo-documentary" or simply "documentary". these photos would get a lot more interesting with description.
BTW, are you into that Dave Hill thing with these photos?

owww. too sleepy to put captions on my photos. anyway, you're right. those photos were shot in an evacuation center. but i hope people dont come to a point that words are more important than the photo itself. dont find meaning in words. find meaning on what you see, just a matter of imagination.

nung akong umuwi, napadaan ako sa building na to, kumuha nung unang shot ngeee medyo mababa yung exposure ata ng isang stop! tapos nagadjust ako sa pangalawa at umurung sa gitna, ayun! sayang nga lang nawala yung tao sa bintana
