Been a member since 2006, studiyante pa lang ako noon at wala pa kaming internet sa bahay. Nagrerent lang ako sa computer shop at wala akong ibang ginagawa noon kundi mag-abang ng mga swabeng deals sa classifieds at mag-basa ng mga thread dito sa GC. Those were the days.

I think that it's a natural progression sa mga groups/fora. From mailing lists + IRC to web forum > FB group. Mas preferred ko pa rin ang web forum dahil ng threaded views and search functions. Even the mailing list have good search functions (via archives).

I quit Facebook because of the bad signal to noise ratio. Using forums makes it easier for me to track the topics I'm interested in and get depth in that knowledge area (as opposed to breadth across different areas as in FB) without the Duterte nonsense that's peddled on FB by his paid trolls these days.

marami sa mga veterans nag migrate, busy etc..

pero i guess the PM forum nowadays is less interesting. nakaka miss tuloy yung "oasgomez/firemodel55" at "scalarizers" bwahahhaa..

Yung mga subgroups na yun nagtayo tayo na ng kanikanilang grupo sa facebook

tapos yung iba busy na, iba na hobby or nagfocus sa ibang linya, nag law school etc etc

Ilang Beses nako nagpalit ng Opisina at ilang beses na din ako nablock ng IT guy

Sa mga unang pagtatalo mula music related hanggang sa grammar at politics.

Sa mga nakakatawang posts na nagpakamot sa ulo ko at nagpahagalpak!

Sa mga nakasalamuha ko rito sa PM kahit na minsan di tayo agree sa mga issue sa buhay.

Mas makabuluhan pa kayo sa kahit na anong website na napuntahan ko.

Kanila na yung FB (actually di ako makapagdeal sa FB kasi nandidiri ako sa majority ng for sale posts at dahil inaassume ko na mandurugas lahat dun) pero ito lang masasabi ko, Walanakamingyelo.

Sana mabuhay uli ang sigla ng Forums at ng PM! I suggest yung mga moderators kung may oras kayo o kung anuman magorganize uli tayo ng EB o Tone Party or whatnot para naman mabuhay ang community ng FB. Iba pa din kasi ang talakayan dito eh

May certain common mentality yun mga nasa FB na hindi ko masakyan. Tapos qwerty na ang keyboard pero text/jeje speak pa rin.

sobra. di ko magawang bumili ng item sa kahit anong FB Group (Except GTP classifieds hahaha panay taga PM din andun eh). feeling ko lahat ng nasa FB group eh overpriced na mga PC Park items =))
