Not all the time, i still have boss flanger i bought here for 1000 pesos. Just look for good deals, expensive doesn't mean it's automatically a good pedal, there's tons of [gooey brown stuff] bowteek pedals out there.

Not necessarily.  I wouldn't have given up my Danelectro Coolcat Drive V1 kung hindi lang mahirap i-engage ang switch nya.  It's a very good drive pedal for only P1,300, brand new.
