Yup. Ang classic definition ng glam rock, yung mga lyrics ng kanta may element ng ambiguous sexulality tsaka overall alienation. You'd have to go back to the 70's for those kinds of groups and artists. That would be David Bowie as Ziggy Stardust, The New York Dolls, T-Rex, Slade, The Sweet, Johnny Thunders, and most of these acts that actually helped birth the punk movement. KISS eventually were the first ones to co-opt the makeup and stage presence and added the hard rock element, which bastardized the whole movement for glam purists. The bands lately that have carried on the traditional glam movement are Placebo, Spacehog, and Pulp (at least on the This Is Hardcore album).

I've always regarded the 80's hard rock as hair metal--and I mean that in an endearing fashion since I also enjoy music by Ratt, Dokken, etc.
