Hindi ko alam kung may thread na regarding this, kung meron na po pakibura nalang mods.

Anyway as the title says, what's the total value of your gear? your current gear (including guitars, amps, pedals, etc) in terms of PRICE! Naisip ko lang kasi na malake na din pala nagastos ko dito, at karamihan ng gastos ko dito napupunta. Para sa akin malake na nagastos ko, so gusto ko lang malaman how much na sa inyo, hehe.

Note: Kung gusto nyo lang ishare, kung confidential sya ok lang din. hehe

As per computing with all my gears.... more or less 60k. hehe.

Edit: Strings, gastos sa luthier ay di kasama. hehe. At gastos nyo talaga from your own salaries, etc.

me starting palang collecting guitars and kumita ng sarile kahit papaano not more than 35k, 3 guitars & 2 Amps. di pa kasama yung continuous gastos sa strings at accessory at maintenance sa Luthier.

Katumbas palang ito ng isang guitar ng mga veteran niyan o baka wala pa sa kalahati LOL!

Oo nga.. wag natin isama yung gastos sa luthier and strings natin..hehe. given na yun. oo nga eh, naiintriga ako how much na yung mga veteran dito..hehe

Sir,
Dapat nabanggit nyo din kung ung gear ay sariling gastos. Kasi most of my gear either hiningi ko pa sa parents ko nung 19--kopong kopong pa or regalo ng ibang kamag anak. Ang talagang binili ko lang sa pera ko through the years ay strings e!

Pati nga upgrade/mod ng guitar pinanghingi lang din noong araw.

how do you get the current value of your gear?

acquisition value? paano yung depreciation rate na gamit mo? 2nd hand = brand new price / 2?

I've actually started writing up an inventory and value for my father's collection.
nalula din ako sa listahang pinadala sa akin.

I've started my own records as well with market and street value. as well as (in some cases) historical significance (once owned by, used by etc..)

kasi usually tingin ng hindi mahilig sa music (some fam members) panay laruan at walang value mga collection natin

I think this is good habit to have an inventory para medyo organized..and at least medyo aware kayo sa value ng stuff ninyo..
keep some notes...para madali mag sell off pag masyado ng sobra gamit gamit..

say kailangan nyo ng capital for a business or gusto ninyo maginvest sa stocks etc..kala ninyo wala kayong pera..yun pala your sitting on top of a gold mine sa gear na pwede benta..

i would estimate my total cost amounting to 200k all in all.. from amps to guitars to effects.. lahat na ng sweldo ko napunta na sa guitar.. but its worth it though.. and i have no regrets buying them.. i hope other guitars feels the satisfaction over the holes these instruments produced in our pockets..

i usually compute my gear value (including gadgets and pocket money) when commuting to gigs/rehearsals, and sometimes I think, jackpot yung ho-holdap sakin kung sakali

Sakin 35K, 1 guitar, 1 pedal, 1 amp, plus accessories - 2 cables, 1 adaptor, 1 soft case bag. Pero kung gitara, amp, at pedal lang = 31K

I started collecting gear around July 2010, started off with 30k worth of gear. After 3 years I'm still a student and I've acquired around 457k worth of gear with my daily school allowance and talent fees.

My gear collection is what I'm most proud of because since July of 2010 I've never asked my parents to buy me music gear or anything music related. They support me in little ways like letting me go out on school nights to earn money playing music, other than that I paid for all my stuff.

EDIT:I initially computed for the stuff I'm selling and didn't include the gear I intend to keep LOL
