Yeah, probably a busted tube. That's why I generally stay away from tube-rectified designs. I know people love the "sag" introduced by so tube recto, but you give so much sway in terms of reliability. Besides, voltage sag can be put in the design using a simple sag resistor.

Where can i buy a tube (EL84) for my Peavey Classic 50? Anybody who knows where can i purchase? sinuyod ko ang Raon wala akong makita. wala na daw avaialble. Napunta ako sa Watson's may pumakyaw daw. Hoping for somebody to help me. Kung maari sana, local shop lang. TIA

Sa Pacific Electronics brad sa Raon, meron silang 6BQ5 mas maganda pa yan compared sa JJ na EL84..
