How does one maximize the use of HD500x's amp/preamp models?

I mean, the amp models are part of we paid for when we bought the unit. That's what makes it attractive to those who do not have financial resources to get a monster rig.

For someone who wants to get the most out of the amp models and is a gigging musician with no uber-hyped tube amp, what would you suggest?

1. Get a portable power amp or speaker and use the preamps models (if there's no PA)?

2. Just rely on the amp/cabinet models and go directly to PA?

Any suggestions?

Ang ginagawa ko na lang, may output naman usually yung mga powered speakers eh, yun yung papuntang house so di na kailangan i'mic since mahirap yun at 2-way ang mga PA speakers.

HD Pro yung sakin bro. Pero halos same lang naman sila, dagdag output options at rack-mounted lang siya.

Fan kasi talaga ako ng setup ni Nigel Hendroff. So for my patches, SLO for gainy, crunchy tones then pingpong lang na 37% ang mix from patch, depende rin kung malaki or maliit ang venue.

Tas dual amp setup ko, mostly for slow worship songs, eh parang kay nigel hendroff.

AMP A eh yung AC30, slight crunch, treble on 11 o'clock, mid and bass on 3'oclock with triplet digital delay panned directly left.

AMP B eh yung PhD motorway, slight crunch din, treble on 2 o'clock, mid on 12 and bass on 9 o'clock with analog delay on 100bpm panned directly right.

Tas ang modulations ko lang eh yung phaser, nothing fancy, 25% lang ang mix. My wah would be the one with the slightest sweep (forgot the model name LOL).

The reason why I bought an external EQ, para kasing ang hina ng sweep ng freQuencies ng EQ ng POD, for slight tone shaping narin sa iba-ibang venues.

Gaano ba katagal ang interval ng restocking ng yupangco?

Bakit parang sobrang tagal ng walang stock ang yupangco ng HD500x, parang 3 months na ata ako nag i-inquire sa kanila pero wala pa din. I even tried reserving just in case at least para di na nila ibenta sa iba, pero di pa daw sila na accept ng reservation kasi wala pa daw confirmation thingy. Also, bakit di sila nag aallow ng ganun reservation?

I understand you are referring to the effects switching within the same patch. How about switching between patches, say from Patch 1A to 1B? How about switching between banks? Is there hiccup or switch delay? Thank you.

You mean latency? Between patches and banks, with so much computing power required by the modelers, siyempre merong kaunti (not sure with the 500X). I'm not sure why it would be a practical issue, though.

Another question... about dual amp set up within the same patch. Can you assign one footswitch to act like a channel switch? (i.e. changing from Vox amp clean to Mesa amp dirt with just one press) Or would it just be the usual "on - off" for each amp sim?

Is there drum machine/ beat/ metronome??

Yes, you can assign pedals to switch amps. The DSP will still account for both, though. So that might affect how many effects you can add to a patch. But this is more of a problem with the HD300/400/500 rather than the 500X.
