You guys are never satisfied with stock pickups, huh? When I had my Dimarzios I thought they're the best thing ever. Then I started playing stock strat and les pauls, sounds decent for stock.

I know they were not that's why i want to swap the dimarzios that came stock with my j.custom with lace or bkp. On the contrary, i currently have a gibson les paul r0, still swapped out those stock pups with replica PAFs haha!

actually it depends, if i need moar spank  (compression)  some stock pickups just dont have that, its funny because most pickups from my botik guitars were too open for our music, i still keep them and some were just meh ..to illustrate

warrior isabella - bartollini (stock) - > dragonfire chrome screamers
warrior knight - sd custom2x (stock) -> dragonfire chrome screamers

200$ pickups replaced by 24$ pickups, all in the name of 'thats the tone i want'

prs sc250 - prs pickups (stock) - > da clone
prs cu22 - prs pickups (stock) -> da clone

sub ax3 -> dragonfire screamers
sub silo3 -> dragonfire screamers

the only stock one i have is my carvin, its the sound i want :)

Lol, I speaked too soon. Just ordered Dimarzio Tone Zone 7 for the bridge. I'm missing the dark, in your face chug and slightly rolled off lead tone.
