on the dot or human?
« on: October 30, 2007, 11:55:20 PM »
some drummers I know, and from interviews I've read prefer the human aspect of drumming of speeding up a bit..especially on live shows...

and some people I've worked with are strict on time.

I'd like to stay on time ALL THE TIME.  In fact, I practice with a metronome and I can play along a click.

But live, I just can't. I'm bad at time keeping. *spank* *spank*

Ako naman pag sa bahay or just a common jamming of my band consistent naman ako, and I can also play along with a metronome.

you're not the only one bro...whenever i play worship songs in our church(worship songs are slower than praise songs), i tend to play faster than i should be...

timing is everything. i want to be strict as well in my timing. might as well practice with a metronome.

sa madaling salita... pag recording, on the dot. pag live, human.
