it's actually naughty, as if i was in front of you, grabbed your collar then said it while our lips almost  kissed. haha..just kidding.

She did Smells Like Teen Spirit as if she's making love onstage asking Kurt Cobain to entertain the women in an orgy with Courtney Love as a voyeur if not also a participant being kinky, biatch and lunatic herself. haha.

Erotic.

When was that? I got to see that, do you have a copy of it? A video clip or something? I got to have that!!!

Have fun kissing you? Makes a whole lot of sense...

For that matter, anything off fiona's last album, "the extraordinary machine"

"my peace and quiet were stolen from me/
when i was looking with calm affection/
you were searching out my imperfections/
what wasted unconditional love/
on somebody/ who doesn't believe in this stuff/
oh, well/"

gorecki, by lamb

and oh, it goes a little something like this:

if i could die this very moment
i would not fear
for i've never known completeness
like being here
wrapped in the warmth of you, loving every breath of you
still my heart this moment, oh it might burst

can we stay right here 'tll the end of time, 'till the earth stops turning
wanna stay right here 'till the seas run dry
i've found the one i've waited for

*but of course if you just broke up with someone, you'd think heck, i THOUGHT i found the one but i was wrong*

and this duet that won a grammy:

falling slowly - glen hansard

i don't know you
but i want you
all the more for that.

*and another one of 'em songs that speaks of broken destiny. pfft. what a waste.

Nick Drake is the first thing that comes to mind, IMO.

Other musicians/bands:
Sparklehorse
Mark Lanegan
Butch Walker (on the Letters album...sooo emo!)
Nico
Tom Waits

Beck's Sea Change, which is his own Blood On The Tracks and a righteous breakup record itself, sounds quite a bit like Nick Drake to me.

And since Once was brought up, my personal favorite off that one is Say It To Me Now. That street performance is intense :)

Fennesz's Venice is quite nice also... no words though, just whirling ambient drone
